Definitely, everyone will consider security as priority  while choosing crypto payment gateways. I have been using coinremitter for almost 1 year. This gateway has best security feature.
1. Two-factor authentication
2. Code card
3. Login history
4. Login shield
5. Login notification
6. Active login
So there are no chances to be hacked.

Are you the coinremitter owner, by the way?

I've never heard of numbers 2, 4, and 6, and the rest of these points are just standard operating procedures any web service should have.

2,4,6 are unheard of he should educate us on these security features do Coinremitter apply all of these, too much security will confuse users, and checking Coinremitter sign-up page https://coinremitter.com/signup you have the option to sign up using Google or Facebook something that is not secure, there has been reporting of Facebook accounts hacking.
2FA, email verification if logging in on a different IP is already ok.

The payment gateway should spend on a secured connection and encryption suited for the payment gateway like Geotrust

Sounds like marketing speak.

I guess for people that don't want to use some of the off the shelf PHP coding to send coins to their own wallets it's probably no better or worse then any of the other services out there.

Their website has a bunch of grammar & contextual errors. Things like that just make me wonder if they don't keep their front end clean how does the back end look.

And the 1 thing that drives me personally nuts is the lack of BTC <-> fiat rates on the front page. As I have said giving me a really good rate on the transaction is fine but if BTC is at $28,000 and you are quoting a rate of $27,500 I am not going to sell anything as soon as people check the rates.

I don't think you can be a source of third-party feedback[1] if you're running and developing the platform yourself. It is like seeing an FTX employee saying FTX is the best exchange that is impossible to hack. No one would believe you regardless of how you convince them. You can try to run a review campaign if you want to market your product here. I'm sure you know one or two things about marketing on this forum from how old your account is.

Also, what you listed above are just protection measures that are more or less common on other platforms with different names. It is definitely not an exclusive feature that you can sell and sway potential business from using your gateway IMO. But yeah, you should also consider security measures available to protect the sellers/business too, as others have mentioned many times.

So there are no chances to be hacked.
Not necessarily.
Those security measures will certainly help keep your account safe, but only on the user's side. Meaning if a hacker is targeting customers, he will not be able to access their accounts and steal their funds even if he manages to find their passwords.
However, advanced hackers tend to attack the platform itself and its servers. In this case, the above mentioned measures will be useless if the attacker gets to get to the platform's back-end.

The back end is everything when it comes to security, you should not be in a payment gateway business if you do not have top-level security and you do not have a team of experts in security, there are standard protocols on security
and it should be updated on a regular basis, payment gateway business is a stiff business because this is a multi-billion dollar business they only need one hack to get them out of business for good.
So you ask is security a prime feature to consider in payment getaways? The answer is absolutely, it is.

In an ideal world (yeah right) neither the person buying things or the seller should care about the security of the gateway.
There should be no way for the gateway to have any information about the sale.

I go to an online store and put something in my cart and check out. The only thing the store should transmit to the payment provider is the amount of the sale and a token that links back to that invoice.
The gateway should then pop up a crypto address and amount once it gets the coins the payment processor then sends the 'yes he paid' data back to the merchant. The payment gateway / provider should never know who I am or what I bought.

Past that the only thing the merchant should care about is getting their crypto / fiat. But that should also be 100% separate from the payment processing. If there is any link between the money in and money out systems you are doing it wrong in terms of security.

I have been using coinremitter for almost 1 year.
Obviously you won't have any problems, because you are using your own platform. As I said before, people shouldn't be entirely on the team behind it.

So there are no chances to be hacked.
That doesn't mean stopping maintenance and improvements, the opportunity to be hacked will always be there and it's just a matter of the size of the potential vulnerability. I'm sure the developers behind these projects have said that on several occasions.

I think when we talk about any kind of payment gateway, firstly everyone thinks about security as their personal & business information and their customer’s personal & business information have to be in safe hands.
There are a lot of crypto payment getaways who have the best features but in terms of security we need more. So in my point of view security must be the prime feature to consider while choosing a cryptocurrency
payment gateway.

That's one of the things I'm looking for in a payment gateway, the site should have a secured connection like a premium SSL, and it should have 100% uptime by using premium hosting, these are industry practices and a payment gateway will have a failing mark if they do not have these two.
They are dealing with transactions and the payment gateway is one of the sites that are prone and targeted by hackers, support is part of the security, they should alert their users in a timely manner on the status of their platform and be quick to address issues when it comes to the payment gateway, all platform should make sure that their clients have peace of mind.

I think you have confused two terms. Security means that your coins will reach your wallet safely or to your bank account without another party stealing them, and privacy means that your data will not be seen by a third party and will be deleted or destroyed once the request is completed.

Unfortunately privacy is valuable and you can only trust that your data will not be used by a third party if you host your own data processor, and broadcast the transaction via Tor.
Try to reduce the data you provide and always consider that a third party will see it.

It's not the prime feature to consider but it's the first feature to watch out for before investing in a currency.  I would certainly ask around first and find out. Remember that it's money you are trying to deal with. Money will always need security especially digital money. Bitcoin is famous because it has the most secure way of confirming transactions and is irreversible.

Before crypto, we did trust those payment methods like Paypal. There is a security to those as well until we realized.

Who will not consider a secure payment gateway when carrying out a transaction?

It is very important to always know the reputation of a platform before deciding to use it; otherwise, the person is just putting their funds at risk. Security should be considered vital in crypto payment gateways; by doing so, users funds are safe. Security cannot be neglected just because of nice features. I think people are even more careful these days about the platforms they are using to carry out their financial transactions.

When it comes to payment gateway security is the main and utmost concern, it starts on your web host, the host should be one that you can rely upon that will give you 100% uptime a payment gateway, and should never have downtime even in a few minutes, or people will lose trust.
They should have a premium SSL certificate to secure data and transactions, I cannot trust payment gateway without a premium SSL certificate.

So in my point of view security must be the prime feature to consider while choosing a cryptocurrency
payment gateway.
if you have started to open a business, whether it's transactions with crypto options, payments, shopping and crypto service feature services you have been signaled to use a Gateway for your access to the network technology you want to use on your computer or laptop, that's the main point.

Talking about security features, of course that is your main consideration for recording data and access in the crypto payment method you want to do, that's important, overall security for yourself and also your customers to perform your services. it cannot be compromised, it must be the first option that you must implement for the convenience of your customers and yourself, of course, security features are important, whether it's vacation payments, lodging, shopping, and so on.

Yes, security is a key driver of using certain payment gateways. However, the security side that the OP is talking about is in fact immeasurable even when you have been using a related application for years. It only relies on the trust of the people behind the scenes that they will one day never betray to start selling user data to other parties.

Even if the design and features are great I don't think I can trust a payment gateway that has a low emphasis on security, security is everything in payment gateway, they must have the capability to combat DDOS and hackers from infiltrating their system and their users' account.
This is the number one priority of every payment gateway and the payment gateway that can provide this to its users will be the most preferred by the industry, do check out Paypal they have one the strictest security which is why they are the most preferred by the sellers, they are also compliant so members information are secured.

Of course, the security of funds of anyone is the primary consideration when one is dealing with online funds, and Bitcoin has it covered for you as far as payment gateways are concerned. And even among the cryptocurrencies, it's the most private and secure, so the safety of your funds might be highly guaranteed if you are not careless on your path.

It has solved the problem of infestation by financial services employees where fund holders are their victims and has put an end to the overbearing practices of some fiats payment systems where they will unjustly block one account.

Paypal does this often, but Bitcoin protects you against such tyrannical companies.
