Bitcoin (82.61 %)

Today's trade. Altcoins gone up to ~20% of the market, almost. This is a sure sign. Easy to read the numbers.
However $ 351 for a Bitcoin is not all time lowest. But I don't buy them, BTC looses value continually, no good investment.
We do not need new and innovative specialized mining machines, nor artificial scaricy that cannot stand a close up inspection.
Pow mining is inflatious, and the hard market cap is located somewhere in a future that will never be. Today, LTC 30% inflation/year, BTC 10%/year. The harsh facts.

Crypto realms can only be saved by market adoption. Be it a niche product, whatever.

Yes. I think in the future you will have BTM's that dispense BTC and a variety of other digital currencies.

Hah, I knew there'd be one somewhere, and it's only 5 kms from me.  Grin

I'll be at the opening for the BitCoin Embassy here in Amsterdam on Friday, so I'll have a look at the ATM....maybe get NXT listed on it.

Edit:
BitCoin Embassy will have their 'Grand Opening' on Friday 12/12/2014:

Cool, I might be able to go there on the opening.

Ask them for an invite....the more the merrier!

Nice!

The goal would be adding the coin implemention onto common http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cash_register
Just to get a picture how these evolved during the centuries, then guess which one could get upgraded with a QR code scanner:

Incognito Coin is already integrated into Generalbytes ATMs using a custom built Point-of-Sale API and there're located throughout Europe.
The Dev team is seeking to get supported on other ATM providers by porting over the API while using the closed payment system to develop web merchant checkout tools.
They are also supported on the payment processor Cointopay.

I saw a Doge ATM but shut down due to a lack of business.  Even Bitcoin ATMs are shutting down and/or merchants are removing their Bitcoin payment option.

Franko has it's own ATM created by the dev but I'm not sure if there are any working on a commercial basis yet.

Yes, and I have a feeling that there have been a few experiments with Altcoins on ATMs...
Most BTC-capable ATMs will also be capable of hosting alt-coins.
I think it's just a matter of time.

Do you think that there will be also Altcoin ATM's?

I was reading about the services offered by COL http://coinoutletatm.com/service/ and came to start thinking - would there be also altcoin ATM's emerging around soon; or no? It seems like a great niche.
