"The decentralized exchange will be the future"
It's a pretty good thing. It reduces the cost each time you switch from your wallet to the exchange.

Qravity is a decentralized content production
It is indeed the future as it's safer in decentralized exchange as you trade directly from your wallet but the problem is usually there's only a little liquidity at decentralized exchange so it makes trading harder, if you want to sell or buy a large amount of coin you have to wait for a long time if you don't want to pay more.

It has to happen i think, but the lack of liquidity still remains the biggest challenge for dex. Currently, i can think of Binance possibly can mitigate this issue. We saw so many new players with their own approach on dex. It will fun if we can see dexes can connect to certain external "liquidity" pool, then could guarantee sufficient liquidity. Beside that security issue, many users or providers still have questionable safety practice or awareness. This is more subjective problem.  But i see things can only be improved and better as more smart minds coming into crypto.

I do have high hope for decentralized exchange. That's what Bitcoin and crypto community wanted from the start.

I do have mix feeling to it. I do like DEX because they don't ask for KYC but still without huge volume to coins. Without it traders are going to move to exchanges like binance for profit which is exactly what we all want. Not even one DEX today can match even the non popular exchange such as cryptopia. WeiDEX seem to be a promising one but there is no assurance from them not asking for KYC actually.

maybe, in decentralized exchange you can find features that do not exist in centralized exchanges.
example security. If someone hacked the password and 2fa in  your centralization exchange account then your account is done, hacker will take away your money.
but on decentralizing exchange is different, if someone wants to hack your account they (hackers) must get a private key from your wallet to be able to enter your decentralized exchange account, so they have advantages in security . This is just my opinion.

Yes, but nowadays they do not have enough liquity, and we are forced to use centralized exchanges such as Binance, Huobi and others.

We can never tell what the future will bring. But I am open to the possibility that decentralized exchange will be in the future. But as of these current situations, maybe not for now. It would take time and when that time comes, maybe all of us are ready for it.

"Controlled smart contract" I like that part and I see truth in it. Decentralization will be available in the future not present. what is being done today in the community is putting things in place to actualize the dream of decentralization tomorrow.

I would like to believe that decentralised Exchanges will be the future but at the moment it is far away. They are not
user friendly exchanges, without customer support and proper communication to their customers. Many of them hacked etc.
Used Ether Delta and Forkdelta earlier but nowadays only Idex from decentralised Exchanges with reason.

Even Binance is working on that. And many other projects working on decentralized exchanges, sure there are some barriers but I believe we will be using decentralized exchanges instead of centralized ones in the future.

The issue of moving fast and some exchanges being closed, is simply blocking a group of people trying to access. To avoid this, we can only rely on decentralized exchanges.
This means that the exchange only works on the controlled smart contract
Yes, I think decentralized exchanges will work successfully in the future. At the moment, these exchanges still have many disadvantages, but I think that in the future they will improve and they will work successfully.

Definitely Yes mate, decentralized exchanges is much better than centralize exchanges. One of the main reasons why cryptocurrencies appeal to such a massive, global audience is because they can operate outside the reach of any one government, regulator or central authority. While this clearly raises questions on best practices to monitor criminal activity of funds, it also means that individuals can escape corrupt government regimes that have the ability to improperly seize privately owned assets. In a truly decentralized exchange, there is no way for any one person or entity to “take control” of the system, making it much more resistant to censorship, government interference, and power games.

Yeah. Decentralized exchanges are good option but they need to improve those features which you've mentioned
Otherwise they won't get that popularity.
I've used some dexs and their interface is always lagging that's hell annoying.

I generally think that the crypto currency will turn our World. Already, it is so popular. What is already on the lips of every third in our country. And people seriously plan for the development of this system. I'm not an exception. I believe with everything soon, we will use virtual circuits more often than real ones.

i don't think so recently bancor was hacked and millions were stolen from the exchange. hackers may have find a way to hack the smart contracts somehow. but it is the fact that decentralized exchanges are much safer than centralized one

Definitely Yes I agree with you mate. Decentralized exchange is better to use. Decentralized exchanges run on a distributed ledger and therefore do not face the same risks of exploitation. If certain nodes are breached, the network would still operate normally and security would not be compromised. Also, because they do not hold the funds and the private keys of their entrusted users, decentralized exchanges keep their users’ funds and personal data secure without undermining their privacy rights.

Yes, since the main goal of crypto is decentralization so I guess it's the future so no one could control our funds and we can trade at our own risk, fuck centralized exchanges it won't last longer.

Yes I think so because decentralized exchanges allow any tokens to be listed as long it is unlocked but what I think right now is that decentralized exchanges are yet ready at the moment, they still have a lot of work to do to make decentralized exchanges more user friendly, allow trading of other tokens that are not ethereum based.

I have the opinion that blockchain technology is a technology that will be needed in the future, this technology provides solutions from various problems that exist in the community. Currently blockchain technology is facing challenges from governments who are worried about the presence of this technology, if you can pass it then I'm sure blockchain will be applied in various fields especially related to the transaction.

As regulations move fast forward, exchanges will shut down or simply block certain populations from accessing the services.
The only waypoints avoid this  might be by relying on decentralized exchanges ...
Meaning exchanges that operate solely on smart contracts.

Another way might be atomic transfer features in wallets.

Decentralized exchanges have a very promising future! No doubt

Here's a new exchange called Ruby-x.

You can get a lot of benefits, when you participate in new altcoin whitelist programs!

If you sign up, you will be given a referral code, and you could earn a part of your recommendees’ transaction fees!

Though there maybe some unanswered questions, the decentralized exchange will definitely impact the future in a good way as we do not hold on to any physical objects while being tamper-proof.

the emergence of the blockchain technological framework has in no doubt resurrected projects that were not in existence pr generally practiced and was at the verge of dying off. the example of one of such is the  exchange of decentralized framework of cryptocurrency and it will work as long as the blockchain technology exists.

In decentralized exchanges, there are no fake volumes of trades. Nobody can steal your money or ban the exchanger. I will be happy to move to decentralized exchanges   if will be faster

If decentralization will happen in the future ,it has 50% chance  that it might approve or denied. It has to under go a long process and debate  in each country before it will approve.  We need to identify first the pros and cons , also the effect in cryptocurrency.

Is it the case with decentralized mate? I thought to this day that they are not safe to use. With this i am going to study more on decentralized exchange.

Yeah sure, Decentralized exchanges will be the future of the exchanges and the crypto currency, even Ethereum founder has said it as well, centralized exchanges are just taking more than required, imagine paying 5 - 10 Millions dollars to list coins, it's way too much, no wonder ICO's tries to raise huge funds.

For a decentralized coin then it should be the same way.
Let the other coins who do KYC's be registered to centralized exchanges since they already took information about the user. There is no more privacy after all.
The essence of creating crypto currencies is out now. They want a lot information about the user to give him good amount of withdrawal and deposited coins.

This became the trend ever since one big exchange made it mandatory.

Definitely, if they can provide safety of funds, which centralized exchanges surely and obviously cannot at this point. All these hacks and bad news going on got me thinking of moving to DEXs in the future. Just like bitcoin network as a whole can't be hacked, it's nice to think that decentralized exchanges would behave in similar manner.

Any decentralized system is much better than usual, and that's why I think that gradually everything in our world will support decentralization. Binance and other centralized exchanges will definitely move towards decentralization.

Decentralized exchangers will have a future, at least because of the possibility of maintaining their anonymity. Many will use them to avoid taxation, as centralized exchangers will transmit information about their customers to the host country and any country on request.

I think there are still some improvements that need to be done on so many decentralized exchanges. Also, on the aspect of security, there were instances where both centralized and decentralized exchanges were hacked.

Yes, I think decentralized exchanges are the future.  Day by day people will move to the decentralized exchange. But there has a problem too. Most of the decentralized exchange has bad customer support, there has fear of hack too. But, My experience says that decentralized exchange got hacked less than a centralized exchange. Decentrali9zed has low withdrawn fees, a fast deposit system. Overall, the decentralized exchange will be the future.

Beware of what you ask for, there are reasons why decentralised exchanges still lack volume when compared to Centralised exchanges, Deceentralised exchanges too can hacked, EtherDelta is a good example, what I think we need is a industry standard. Yesterday Bancor exchange was hacked and lost close to $25 million

If there's an exchange that going to have this feature, I'll start using it but until now there's no exchange that can provide this.

Not today but its possible in the near future.

For some features i do agree but only one thing i wont agree is about the security. Centralized and decentralized it doesnt matter yet they are still prone to attack. Decentralized exchangers might show up if strict implementation would be applied on any exchange that do operate on a certain state where users would even have a hard time on using up their service or just simply they dont like to comply the KYC thingy but rest assured centralized exchange will surely stay.

As I think, in the current state, in which there are decentralized exchanges, there are many short-cuts. Both technical and social. Well, so far, not much people are engaged in an exchange. Perhaps their time has not passed, but everything can change dramatically. Centralized exchanges can become under the pressure of states or banks. Then the alternative exchange will begin to develop more strongly. Personally, I have not yet used decentralized, but I'd like to try  Grin
