The supporters of XRP better watch out for the progress made by SWIFT. SWIFT is the "old-tech" incumbent and they were outmaneuvered by Ripple. However, they are slowly sharpening their swords and getting ready to reclaim their territory.
An advantage that SWIFT has over Ripple is that SWIFT was conceived and owned by the banks, and the banks may have made false overtures to Ripple to learn more about their technology and build up competency on the blockchain before inflicting deep wounds.
Sounds like the makings of a cryptocurrency Game of Thrones!
