I don't find any issue traveling with it.  But where are you keeping your seed then if you traveling for a long time?  That is the bigger question here.  Because if something happens to your ledger wallet, well as long as you have seed... you are fine.  But if you don't have it with you when traveling, then you can't use it until you have your seed.

I think it's best to 'travel light' and have 2 separate hardware wallets bringing only one with lesser funds outside.

I am in the coin game about all day long but my work requires me to to be in three different towns each week, all several hundred miles apart. Also have to go out of state for a couple weeks next month.

Having trouble deciding if I should bring the Nano on the airplane or leave at home. Would hate to miss a trade but would hate to lose the damn thing.

Leave it at home, because that was small goods. You just need to take care of your wallet. The worst thing if you are forgetting your wallet in somewhere.
Because you are travelling, and it may better to keep you amount still safe in your wallet. If you can try to use a paper wallet and I might better rather than bring your wallet with you.

If I have bought a Ledger Nano, I would definitely bring it with me when traveling. However, it is important that I should not put them all in one Ledger Nano only. There's a case that I may lost it without knowing, but I'm very sensitive when it comes to securing important stuff like this.

I would spread some of my assets in different wallets (offline paper wallet, Trezor wallet, etc.). Just make sure that you keep it safe from getting lost or stolen.

No i don't, i leave it at home and i store it alongside with my external hdd and usb drive so it's very unlikely that people will know that it is something that hold several thousands in it. It's fine if you want to take it as long as you keep the seed somewhere safe.

You could buy another one and have them both share the same key/wallets, or just travel with the one you have and if you lose it just buy another one and use your written backup to get back your coins.

I would buy another and keep smaller amounts on it to travel with and do trades and leave your other one at home in a safe place with the majority of your holdings kept on it.
