100 percent success rate? So every bodies iPhone is essentially bugged?

100% success rate simply means that it has worked on every attempt. That could be 1, 1000 or 1000000.

I heard this as well in a video of a conference on youtube.
If this finally the era of the opensource? I guess not, people like iphones!

They've done studies you know, 60% of the time it works every time

LOL 60%, more like 100% in multiples way.
Also it's not based on studies only, it's based on leaked documents

And it says they need physical access in that article.

Yes, everyone seems to ignore this little tidbit wherever the topic is discussed.  Newsflash people, it is absolutely trivial to place spyware on an iPhone (or Android device) if you have physical access to it.

Every attempt at what? Every phone they've intercepted?

Are you DAF? LOL

"All Apple devices have been successfully infected by the NSA with spyware..."

So don't be downloading spyware onto your iPhone! Or better yet don't use an iPhone period! Smiley

What's DAF?

Nothing is that surprising about the NSA anymore. Hopefully Americans start doing something about it.

I'd be more worried about them building backdoors straight into the phones themselves, so no need for intercepting them.

Do you think Merkel's phone has tight security precautions? and it was "allegedly" tapped.
If NSA can monitor calls and texts at the towers, I don't believe any phone is safe...
(From what I have heard, sat phones can be tapped too)

May be world leaders should learn from terrorists and change their phone sim cards everyday  Cheesy

better get a blackberry; a device nobody uses should be pretty safe, right?

Except for the governments and a handful of businesses that still use the BlackBerry.

I think more handsets have been infiltrated by the spyware, not only iPhone. The NSA policies have done immense damage to the US image, irrespective of how you look at it or on what side of the fence you are. I've seen another article where laptops and desktop pc's have been intercepted by them before delivery to plant their bugs. I believe it has recently been ruled constitutional, but what do I know.
