I have asus sabertooth mainboard and 1 r9 270 radeon and 1 r9 290 radeon wantto buy new 290 or 280 i am not usre if 900W PSU enough ?? can someone advice.

It should be enough but don't overclock too much. You don't want to max out your PSU Smiley

I think it's pushing it, I wouldn't. Especially since the 290 draws a lot of power.

Depends on the psu, processor and ram. A tier 1 psu with a cheap 60w processor, just enough ram to avoid hardware errors and a little undervolting on the gpus will do it. Now if you have a 125w cpu, 32 gb of ram and stock volts on the gpu you will probably need more power.

I run 3x R9 280x on 1000w, it might at a push be ok. I am planning to add a 4th and see if it can cope.
