Become a trader we have to spend times to learn strategy and to make trading plan, and also we should be spend alot of times everyday to make research the situation of market to decide when best times to buy and sell. So day trader is one of the job that without boss and we can make target by self for target profit

You can trade day in cryptos. I do not like day trading because the knowledge about trading technical is very low. Usually, I only use RSI and MACD. I think long-term is the best trading.

yes, you can trade day on crypto and most importantly you should have free time to keep monitoring the crypto price movement. besides that, of course, must be selective in choosing crypto for trading so that you do not get loss in doing day trading activity on crypto because trading is activity which has high enough risk.

In my opinion day trading in crypto will be profitable if we do it in MT4 platform because this platform allow to make profit from long and short open potition. I did it and trade on this platform is more efisien because avalaible stop loss and trailing stop. Profitable or not also depend on the strategy and trading plan each trader.

From my thoughts, being a day trader is possible with the help of lots and lots of exchanges around the globe to provide with the trustworthy service. Day traders can be successful when they have good sum of funds, because only with that one can earn a small amount even when the fluctuation happens in a minor level.

Quit their day job and tried their luck within the crypto field. It is not a bad thing for they can profit a lot if they got to know how and when the fluctuation comes.

There are lots of traders here in this forum mate, but long-term traders are much more than day traders. Because it takes more risk in day trading that can cause you to lose a lot of money if you don't fully understand the market of cryptocurrency, because it has a high volatility of its market that could be so hard for anyone to predict of its price.

Yes, it does. Why would it not? As long as you have a good understanding of the market and you are up-to-date, then you are likely to win more than you lose. I would be lying if I said it is impossible for beginners because some of them get really lucky, but it is still hard. As a starter, you should make a decision on whether you are starting a long-term trading or daily trading. Once you make up your mind, choose the coin you are going to trade with. Yes, to my opinion, day traders involve themselves in cryptos more than any other categories of people in the crypto ecosystem. They'd have to follow up on so many coins so as to get the best ones to join and trade

yes there are many traders I know that do day trading with cryptos and some of them are paying good but some have lost all of their investment because of stress and emotions.

Yes surely volume affects the day trading as if the volume is high then the movement is also big so if you trade in volume then small movement with big volume will give you immediately profit in day trading.

I think if you are a newcomer to the crypto market then you need to find out carefully, you can see that bitcoin prices are continually decreasing during the past few days, the market is in the bearish cycle for a long time In order to be able to trade successfully you need to trade short-term by day. You need to analyze accurately, combine with market information and always keep track of bitcoin prices.

Day trading is really risky investment but no one is experienced in any field. Because first we should take some steps then only we will gain knowledge in that field so new traders also make good profit in future. But new traders are little bit gain some knowledge technical analysis automatically they will make profit in day trading.

The younger ones, who got into trading a few years ago and are tech focused indeed make lots of their money in the crypto market.
But some are also trading in the traditional markets like forex, stocks, penny stocks or are commodity traders as well.
If you are skilled and have a decent sized trading account, you can trade whatever you want. But the crypto space is still very new and therefore many participants are not that much experienced. Veteran traders of course take advantage of that.

There are lots of people who daytrade in crypto (check out QuickFingersLuc on youtube for a professional day trader), however it seems that most of these people have experience from trading in stocks. You can just get into day trading crypto, but it's definitely something that improves as you become more experienced.

Lots of people made a ton of profit day trading crypto, because really you could have made a bad trade and lost Eth, but still make a profit in USD. Now that the market is going down, it's a lot riskier and difficult to do. It's still totally possible.

I don't think that it could be any less profitable than the stock market if not more.
You know sometimes you can be lucky enough to get great profit in just couple of hours, but the key is " being active" , keeping up with the price every second, keeping the notifications on for the hike in price.
Holding for long term sure does have unspoken benifits but at the same time you should remember how it could result in a complete loss too.
I think if someone is willing to invest time in it then day trading is the best.

I think he still can not make active income profit from trading use strategy daily trading, that is why he asked does  day trading is work on cryptocurrencies, because as we know the trend of price is still down trend and there are no signal the price of cryptocurrencies will rise again at least in my personal analysis technical.

Search for a coin that has great daily trading volume, and always be prepared to lose, don't expect an all win trade. be disciplined.

Sometimes yeah but i only spend the extra money i got from my trades and that coin will be random in term I'm checking my luck incase i win i wanna trust my gut from then on. I never trade everyday if i have so little money and also this applies to newbie traders don't go washing all your money everyday keep atleast once or twice a week.

It got me very confused too. I think what he really meant is daytrade and not daytrader. Daytrading has been practiced in the past years not just in crypto but also in the stock market. It's only applicable for people who does have a lot of time.

For those who day trade it is possible to day trade with cryptocurrency because there are high profits in it only if you know and understand how to do it.

Day trading in crypto is more difficult to do than swing trading, but i also interesting to do because promosing high profit. I prefer to do day trading in MT4 platform that allow to make profit from buy and open potition. In MT4 also any features stop loss and trailing stop so possible to reduce the risk. Day trading is work in any kind of trading this is depend our strategies and trading plan.

I don't think that "regular" day traders do anything with crypto because it's too volatile and unstable for them.
On the other hand there are many crypto day traders. It's very profitable if you have enough experience.

There are some day traders on cryptocurrency market which these people arent just present on this market but also on traditional trading firms too like on forex and stock markets. People who do make day trades are the ones who are active on opening orders and closing in the end of the day. They do make outcome fast unlike on other type of traders like on swing or long term ones. The thing on here is that this is complex and way too risky because you are involving on short or fast pace trades which usually make use of lower timeframes.

Of course day traders work with cryptos, in fact, they would be stupid if they didn't. When trading stocks, you would be lucky if there was a +/- 3% variation within the course of a day, and for forex, it would probably be even less. When trading cryptos, even the most stable ones like Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin can fluctuate by a range of over 10% in 1 day (+/- 5%) which makes it possible for you earn great profits if you're clever, and careful. Or if you're not so careful, or think that the price will go down, why not check out leveraged trading? It's a bit easier for noobs.

Yes but I think Day trading are fits for well-experienced traders and have lots of time to check the market, also you have a big capital to gained huge on your 10% profit on your investments.

I think it can if you have a very large stack and so something that follows more traditional technical analysis like ETH/USD or BTC/USD (in the sense of going short or long)... but alt coins are definitely not going to work in fud markets.  The risk/reward ratio on a day to day basis is pretty low (unless you're looking to scalp BTC drops for quick alt flips on mild recoveries and don't get too greedy).  Even still I think day trading in this market is ridiculous since these Bart candles started.. almost the exact opposite of the predictable happens every time on BTC/USD pair... printing a bull flag for some consolidation?  Bart candle down and then immediately spike up?  Head and Shoulders pattern? Bart candle straight up into a bull flag that then spikes down... Low volume symmetrical triangle?  Random 3000 btc order buy or sell on a 1 min candle on bitfinex.. Trading on margin? Huge spike up then spike down.. then consolidation pattern which breaks down instead of up, but then bear flags into a spike up.  I think anyone playing on a day to day right now is just guessing.. I think you could play the overall trend though and guess that this is reasonably close to the bottom... but playing in this small dumb zone is gonna get you rekt. It doesn't matter now if you do day trading, you won't make any profit right now, you need the market to stabilise at a little before we can start day trading as doing so now will keep draining your funds and eventually you'll be left with nothing. If you want to take my opinion i would suggest don't day trade right now

There are plenty of people who day trade in crypto, you can definitely do that. However, please be aware that crypto day trading is high risk. Study well before you hit the market and remember to set your stop lost.

If you want more challenging trading , you can try day trader.
Trade harder get more profit but remember bitcoin still consider as volatile investment so make sure to prepare the worst !

For me personally, I see bitcoin as long term investment !

Maybe some day traders are successful in trading with cryptos, but base on my experience I always failed because it's hard to earn in day trading I think you should have strategy for trading to earn.

Yes day trading definitely works. Many investors do that, but day trading is very tough. Day traders need to have a lot of knowledge. They need to keep up on the latest stock market news and events that affect stocks. The process requires a trader to track the markets and spot opportunities, which can arise any time during trading hours. Don’t consider it if you have limited hours to spare. Moreover as the crypto market is a 24 x 7 market it requires you to keep constant watch over the market everytime which can be stressful at times.

That is why we have day traders in the crypto currency world but it is not suitable for everyone,only for the people who can spend more time in the trading then only they can make enough profits.

But I am not a day trader,I just look to do the long term trading with altcoins because this is just same effective with less effort.

Yes definitely, I know many people who day trade cryptos and they are doing good. With the volatility in this market it is quite risky though but if  you know what you are doing well you can make the volatility as an advantage.

I am not sure if day trading will work with crypto, if it worked perhaps just for some of them with big volume such as Bitcoin or Ethereum. For any other alt coin with has low volume, seems day trading will not work.

Day trading is good for cryptocurrencies trading and I have been doing it a little.  If you have large capital that is going to enable you to take huge profits from little move I think I will advise you to go for day trading.  Trading either day trade or long term investment entail great risk and you should not go into it without proper knowledge on how trading work.

Yes there were lot of day traders are available on the crypto field who doing this as their only job because we can earn more money through the crypto trading than our regular job but day trading is very riskier than long term trade so I like to do long term trade than day trading.

Yes you can day trade with cryptos. Most of the alt coins are down in volume due to the bearish market right now. Which makes day trading more difficult.

I use RSI and Bollinger bands as my indicators on the 5m or 15m intervals for day trading. Making a couple 1-2% gains through out the day adds up.

Yes, i love to do daytrading but we do not work with cryptos.. we just buy coins and we hold them until they give us a little profit of at least a 1 percent per pair.
