I don't know why but my withdrawal of .8 btc is awaiting approval... I've never had this experience before with Bitconnect and Gdax because when I asked them to withdraw my bitcoin they did it immediately. I've heard many horror stories about transaction got stuck... I hope this is not the case.
Amount size is not related to your withdrawal status, as mention racquemis, poloniex waiting until YOU will approve cashout, so first check what email you used when created polo account,maybe you are not using it already, and did not notice a letter with confirmation link.
