Nobody really thought they would make it this far and since they are in Vegas the sportsbookies were on them even before they started playing.
I watched a documentary about it and they showed odds of 175 : 1 odds to win the stanely cup.
Some people actually bet over $100k on them to win at those odds and I think I saw one guy put $1k on them at 500 : 1 odds for one bookie.
Vegas is saying they lost alot of money on people who bet on them at the beginning of the year because they hardly lost any games and had to pay out those die hard bettors there who bet on every single game they played to win em.
