dear people,
Bxone are scammers. I did a withdrawal from my MT4 broker account to Bxone on Bitcoins. (i saw Bxone "crypto" option so i chose it)
My account was credited. I passed the KYC process but then WITHOUT REASON they closed my account.
Hopefully, my broker received the money and i was able to withdraw via Bank Transfer.

Days later, thinking that i did something wrong, i tried once more to open an account on their platform, passed the KYC process and see their answer :

Dear people,
i opened an account on BXONE (https://bxone.com/) 10 days ago and did my first deposit.
I can tell you that after searching for the BXONE platform on Google, I did not find anyone other than you who talked about this platform before. Suppose the platform team did not pay you. In that case, I am sure that you opened an account and deposited your money on this unknown exchange platform because of the free crypto withdrawal fees that this platform provides as an advantage to attract potential customers, it is undoubtedly a trap, but have you asked yourself why other popular and reputable exchanges in the market did not make the fees-free for customers and why did this exchange platform do so without others? This indicates they are scammers because no other platform can provide such huge financial liquidity for zero networking fees.

I presume that this isn't a surreptitious form of promotion. I am intrigued as to where you stumbled upon this information. Were there any enticing offers that promised you free money upon depositing? Personally, I am not keen on exploring new exchanges as there are already plenty of established ones available. Besides, this is the first time I've heard of this exchange. I suggest that you refrain from making any further deposits and reach out to their support team. If they are legitimate, they should be able to respond to your queries.

Secondly, I know some exchanges that are legitimate and don't even appear on CMC. Does that make them scam? Did they forget to scam me when I used some of them?
Obviously not, but we need some way to at least see what options are available. CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko serve that purpose just fine. After that, it's up to you to carry out more research and pick what you think is good.

There are dangers in all popular ways people look for new crypto exchanges. Looking on CMC or CG is one of them. Listening to so-called YouTube influencers and self-proclaimed "trading experts" is another. Asking google and trusting its suggestions also. And some people trust social media recommendations or reviews found over the internet. DYOR will always be necessary.

Well, i've been a newbie too and that's not how i read a sentence and understand a point of view. The whole point i said is clear as sky.
I don't think newbies now have lesser thoughts and dumb enough than before(us) not to understand the whole point that "if an exchange is not listed on cmc or cmc-like exchange listing sites then how they will trust completely a random site then" specially a new one.
My point is we should stop using CMC as a yardstick to measure the legitimacy of an exchange. They have so many scam exchanges listed there. Some even fake trading volumes through wash trading to look legitimate.

Newbie sees HitBTC on Reddit, Newbie rushes to CMC to check if HitBTC is listed there and on finding out it's listed then he thinks it's legit because someone told him if an exchange appears on CMC. Then it must be legit.
I have been engaging with newbies so many times, even recently when teaching them about Bitcoin, trading and exchanges. Different people have different levels of perceiving and understanding things. If you were a little sharp as a newbie doesn't mean someone else will be, the same  Wink

Secondly, I know some exchanges that are legitimate and don't even appear on CMC. Does that make them scam? Did they forget to scam me when I used some of them?

I wonder how you make a deposit and KYC before you check whether the exchange is reliable or not? You now have a double problem: your deposit that you lost and also your documents that may be sold and used for illegal purposes.

You should have verified the exchange before you deposited your money or documents there, not after.

I don't know how new exchanges attract new users with hundreds of well-known and reliable exchanges, most likely free airdrops are the reason.

I think you have found yourself a scam exchange. Not only did you deposit money into it but you also uploaded your personal documents. All you can do now is hope they won't sell them on the black market or try to misuse them for other activities.

I can't find anything useful about the exchange on Google.
The domain was registered in 2016. It first appears on Wayback Machine in 2001, (not sure how that is possible) but that achieve shows nothing useful. You can see here that the domain was for sale in 2017. In 2018, it already turned into an exchange and ICO platform.

i opened an account on BXONE (https://bxone.com/) 10 days ago and did my first deposit.
The service looks serious and has some good reviews but the fact is that i ask them to verify my account (i did full KYC process) and no news since then.
What made you that it is a platform worth depositing in? I visited the site and the design does not seem so professional that you need to manually refresh the page to update the prices. This indicates that they are either scammers or unprofessionals.

them TOS page https://bxone.com/terms_of_service.html it's generic, hastily written, and not a professional disclaimer for a platform that requires users to verify identity.

Unfortunately, you have been scammed and you must assume that your data has been sold to third parties.

Exchanges that are not listed on coinmarketcap are not to be trusted, im not saying that you should trust exchanges that are listed on cmc either.
You shouldn't have said the bolded part then, or else, newbies are newbies. They can easily be misled and manipulated. We need to carefully guide and protect newbies in the crypto space where possible.

Coinmarketcap would be the last place I would look up to when trying to use when checking the legitimacy of an exchange. HitBTC for example has been scamming customers for years in the name of KYC, and yet they are still listed in CMC. No warning about the shady behaviour of the exchange at all!

Im saying at least they are known to other cmc or cmc-like exchange listing sites. I don't know if this is a legit question or just a marketing gimmick but im very sketchy to it and your deposit is in bad hands.

Maybe some asian (Japanese, Chinese) know about this company. I'm little bit worried right now.
I glance at the wallet BXONE.com, has negative indications, maybe users should be more careful in using the bxone.com wallet.
Example of a negative indication:
Quote
* According to Tranco this site has a low rank
* This site is a website within another website
* This website seems to be parked ( how to get your money back )
* The main domain has a lower trust score

The point is from the review in the quote above, if one wallet depends on another wallet, it is high risk, there is a high probability that there will be problems in the future.

For that you need to do your own research regarding the BXONE.com wallet, so you don't get stuck, because the website is relatively new, so we didn't find much, it's best to use a safe wallet, before you come to regret it.

I crossed checked with FSA Japan and I coundn't find any bxone exchange registered with them, see: https://www.fsa.go.jp/en/regulated/licensed/en_kasoutuka.pdf
On their privacy policy

The claim they are a company incorporated in the Independent State of Samoa

Quote
1.1 BXONE (hereinafter referred to as 'the Company') is a company incorporated in the Independent State of Samoa under the laws of the Independent State of Samoa, and operates the Website https://bxone.com (hereinafter referred to as 'this Website' or 'the Website'), which is a platform dedicated to the transaction of digital assets and the provision of related services (hereinafter referred to as 'the Service').

A quick search through the Samoan business registry still shows no existence of BXONE (https://www.businessregistries.gov.ws/samoa-br-companies/viewInstance/view.html?id=3729e4694cee83de20eb808637ff90e244c98e7e3d40e06dae166d4e2a4f9454&_timestamp=4774641926960885)

I have a feeling OP has been scammed, and now they need his KYC documents too

Where did you find the "good reviews" as I can't seem to find anything about this.

I did find a twitter account under @bxonejp, see: https://twitter.com/bxonejp. I found bxone.com from the link on their bio so I'm guessing it's them.

I crossed checked with FSA Japan and I coundn't find any bxone exchange registered with them, see: https://www.fsa.go.jp/en/regulated/licensed/en_kasoutuka.pdf

I don't think I would deposit a single cent on them...

EDIT:

About the reviews, were you talking about the twitter comments?

I first have to say that I never even heard about this BXONE and from what I can see, they are not on either Coingecko or Coinmarketcap. Being there is not a sign of legitimacy of course, but exchange not being there at all is a major red flag. At least for me.

By the way, how did you even hear about this exchange, what made you use it when there are so many solid choices if you don't mind going through KYC? And if they suddenly ask you for more money in order to get your deposit out, you can be 100% sure that its a scam.
