As of now, I think they're still thinking about it. But it's not impossible that they'll support it.
I heard that head of coinbase not going to support Bitcoin Gold because they have some disagreements with the developers
As i know today should to start Bitcoin Gold Blockchain, but nothing happen. It is very possible that everything will end like a scam..

Coinbase are not distributing the bitcoin gold into their bitcoin holders, but may better to move your amount in the correct place to receive another shit forked token. Remember there is a rumour about the next shit forked token will have issued in the future and distribute to all of the bitcoin holders. I remember the name was b2x coin.

So we have 1st of November and nothing happened.
I guessed that Coinbase will not support Bitcoin Gold even if it will succeed.
Anyway i prefer to keep coins in Coinbase wallet (because of security) than in any other wallet online and get some worthless shitcoin.
There is so much confusion around this fork that I've lost myself..

I think the current BTG will not be able to coinbase. The market is watching BTG a lot. If there is a good signal BTG will increase price in the coming time. We hope that the BTG will also develop as BCH.

How they can buy/sell Bitcoin Gold if they still don't have even blockchain?! For me BTG at this point can't have even token status.. is wothless.. But if someone want buy it.. Why not? People collect very strange things..
