Use another exchange if you can. Their lack of clarity might give you some trouble later. Such as bad rates, high fees etc.
To be honest, their website design is not that great either. I'm seeing similar stock images that ICOs projects used.

I do not advise you to trust them. There are many conflicting things about their site, and the reviews are not positive.
Not answering from the support team is another negative indication, therefore, if they cannot answer you in a small inquiry, how can you trust them with a lot of money.

When I buy or sell crypto on Coinhako, am I buying and selling directly with other buyer/sellers on the exchange, or am I buying/selling with Coinhako as the market maker?
