I don’t think coinmarketcap is showing fraudulent data. It use api and showing the data of each exchanges, so it is just showing what is in each exchange.

first of all this is people's fault for looking for thinking CMC is providing them with valuable information! whereas it is just data that they are gathering and the way they sort coins is the worst of all times and the harm that has done so far has been great because it has overshadowed good projects which actually have high price but since their supplies are low means they go to the bottom of the list.

second this article seems more like someone who wants to attack CMC for some personal reasons and although he is right on most accounts but that doesn't  change the fact that he is doing it for some personal reasons in my opinion. and it has some contradictory information. he says 75% of the coins there have wrong information but then says he has only checked top 500 which is about 30% of the total listed!

and finally at the bottom of the list, the coins he is arguing about are mostly nitpicking arguments and some have some merit. and for most of them he is only repeating the fact that using market cap to rank coins is false! that is general and applies to all of them not some.

I have bumped into this article lately accusing the #1 website in the cryptocurrency industry (coinmarketcap.com) that it's showing fraudulent information (on purpose) to us.

What's your take on this?
