From Cryptopia to Bitfinex should be fine. It should classify as a normal transaction, not smart one.

I just withdrew ETH from Cryptopia and deposited it to Bitfinex two hours ago. According to Cryptopia, the transaction is complete, but nothing shows up in Bitfinex. I should just wait, I guess? I understand from you (smoolae) that Bitfinex is not a smart contract? I could not find information about it.

I think everything is OK! You just have to wait, right now the Ethereum network is really suffering under the heavy load of transactions. Smiley

If the transaction using ether in crypto will happen like this will take a long time, I suggest it is better if you want to transact in cryptopia better using btc so your withdrawal will not wait long and you are not worried about the transaction you are doing.

Hello,

Has anyone withdrawn Ethereum from Bitstamp directly to Cryptopia account?
Well, I just did that and now I have this feeling that I may have fucked up. Tongue

My transaction on Etherscan:
https://etherscan.io/tx/0x5e1aa96d0c29fe34782341ce999919ce73921b04365341d1cf4e6f6b419dc300

Also, my Cryptopia ETH address 0x6ef9b836ad6be0c92f6d58b1db122b600041d80d but Etherscan shows 0x1522900b6dafac587d499a862861c0869be6e428 as receiver.

It has been pending more than an hour now...

What happens next?

Thanks for any help,
Sam

I think your eth has entered, you send 0.25696842 eth to the address 0x6ef9b836ad6be0c92f6d58b1db122b600041d80d

The transaction has been successful and you can see it here https://etherscan.io/address/0x6ef9b836ad6be0c92f6d58b1db122b600041d80d#internaltx

To withdraw from exchanger to exchanger takes a long time. just wait, it will soon accrue to your cryptopia account.

Okay,
Got my Ether, Cryptopia support handled this situation with 5 hours Smiley.
But they said: Please do not use smart contracts to send Ethereum to Cryptopia.

From Cryptopia to Bitfinex should be fine. It should classify as a normal transaction, not smart one.
