Ok that's good. Last time i checked their KYC, i could not find the name of Pakistan in that country list. Maybe they have added in recently when few people have contacted them via chat & email and asking about the status of our country KYC.
I can now do the KYC for my account.

If you cared to read through, you should have known by now that the findings show that the Country is not supported. Just making generic responses minus reading through ain't cool.

I used them with small amount and it works fine but i can say it is good because them TOS tell you they can ban your coins at any time so use them with small amount, contact them support team and never use public/free VPN.
They have some scam cases but i dont think they will ban you because your country

I'm sorry, but you're probably mistaken. Did you happen to read Potato Chips' response just above your post? It says there that Pakistan is not supported by Gate.io. Gate.io may have nothing against Pakistan but Pakistan has laws and regulations which somehow prohibit Gate.io from offering their products and services to its residents. So if you disregard this fact and proceed to create an account there, the moment you submit your KYC documents, the platform will automatically detect that you are from a restricted country. Your account might only be blocked. Be safe rather than sorry!

I managed to snatched one human. But sorry OP. I meant to screenshot the whole conversation however the chat history was nuked before I could even do it. Good thing I managed to do 2 snapshots while I was waiting for them to respond.

For the last question, their answer was because they are working on supporting Pakistan. It's good that they are looking into supporting the country but it's not a done deal yet and so they should've kept it included in their list of restricted countries.

Have you tried asking on their Telegram or social media? Sometimes they are more responsive there for general queries like this. But anyway, if you can't find your country then it's safe to assume you can't use that exchange. Just stop your registration and move on.

If this is the case, I'm afraid the list of countries and US states restricted by the platform as per the information displayed on the site upon sign up is incomplete. And if OP cannot find Pakistan in the list of countries in the process of KYC, there's really no way he/she could use gate.io as the platform has a mandatory KYC requirement for all its users.

They had included USA on the list on prohibited but they do allow it with limited services?

USA/Canadian/Japanese users are supported on gate.io now.

But your use of gate.io services are limited.

You may not be able to access services such as lending, margin trading , perpetual contract trading and the trade of some coins.

Thanks everyone for the responses. I also seen the list of countries which are showing banned in the sign up page at gate.io exchange but my concern is that when i search the internet (Google), it shows something else. There it says that Pakistan is not allowed to signup on this exchange. That's creating a confusion.

Pakistan is not banned and you can easily sign-up to take full advantage of their exchange. But you will probably have to go through a KYC process.

Their signup pages says,

You are right but this is also unlikely that they will shutdown their service in Pakistan unless Pakistan govt wants to regulate cryptocurrency heavily. Otherwise, they are happy to serve countries where they don't face a problem. However, as you mentioned people should never store our coin on exchanges!

Page 7 of their user agreement (https://www.gate.io/docs/agreement.pdf) has a list of countries which they don't accept. I don't see Pakistan among them.
