Falsified post:

E.g. of company (brother, sister, cousin, friend, parent etc.)

Having sMerit and sending it to my company is my decision since it's my sMerits to give. Why some members give me a negative trust for accusing my account and my cousin's account whose mentoring me in this forum an alternate account? We live in the same roof and using the same bandwith of internet. There's nothing in the rules said that you can't merit your company instead you can send merit to anyone you like.

True version (after a few corrections):

E.g. of alt accounts (in brother's name, sister's name, cousin's name, friend's name, parents' name etc.)

Having sMerit and sending it to my alt is my decision since it's my sMerits to give. Why some members give me a negative trust for accusing my account and my alt account which I'm mentoring in this forum as an alternate account? We live in the same body and using the same bandwith of internet. There's nothing in the rules said that you can't merit your alt instead you can send merit to anyone you like.

Let me ask you a question:

1) If you were a teacher, would you let your students check the answer sheets of their friends ?

If you answer this question as no, the answer to your question will also be no. Do not do this as it will defeat the purpose of merit system. We need honest members here who are awarding merits based on the quality of the post and not on the basis of the their relation or association with the member making that post.

2) A member should be given negative trust for giving merits to his friends and family here.

Nobody will judge you if the comment you gave sMerit for really deserves that, but is you are giving sMerits for shitposts that is going to be counted as abusing of Merit system. Next thing is exchanging Merits by a small group of people, especially with the same IP address, will awake a lot of questions and negative trust is provided. You see it is hard to prove to the forum that all of this profiles from the same IP address belong to different people, if you wish to avoid such unpleasant situation I recommend you to say to the cousin or other relative to comment from the phone'a internet, thanks god it works well almost in every city now.

We can't expel the way that bitcoin has a tremendous upside with regards to its cost. Bitcoin is still on its beginning time so that is the reason I am contributing now since I am almost certain that it will develop in cost sooner rather than later. Likewise, I trust that the idea driving it is the people to come or what's to come. The entire world will grasp bitcoin and be utilized by each nation which I think will make the cost to shoot up.

What the fack is this?

You are not contributing anything, you are posting garbage, nobody needs what you are doing, you are not helping anybody.

You need to step back and think about the purpose of the merit system. It is designed to improve the quality of the forum, and not to help families to increase their presence on the boards. Nepotism is counter to the interests of the forum and its members. Merit is meant to reward the quality of your posting, and not the fecundity of your parents. It may not be banned on the boards, but many awarders of merit will put you on ignore to avoid helping you to reduce the quality of the forum.

I agree.

People should not hand merits to friends just because they're friends. They should really do so only if the friends deserve it.

That's like if someone givea you a ribbon and tells you only to merit people who deserve it, the u give that ribbon to your friends because u want to help them out,,,. Wtf

You mean "brother", "sister", "cousin", "friend", "parent" etc? These are usually just the tired excuses people come out with time and time again. True, there is nothing in the rules about it but there is nothing in the rules against scamming but that doesn't mean the community doesn't frown upon it. I also really don't care even if you are truly brothers, sisters, cousins, friends etc as merit isn't something that is just meant to be passed between friends and family for shitposts. It's meant to reward quality posts and you're just abusing it to try cheat the system and rank up. So no, merit shouldn't be given to your friends or family members; it should be given to reward people for quality contributions to the forum.

Thank you sir! This really helps a lot on our understanding. Now I and my cousin clearly understand how merit should only give on quality post. We'll never pass merits on both account just to spend sMerits.

Even your IP address differs and the person is not related/relative of yours. But still you can get negative trust because everybody is seeing that there is back and froth of merit in poor post.
You are giving 7 merits (that is your max smerits ) for a post that is even below the average post. Sentence creation has serious flaws in that post.
Same is with your merited post from that guy.
Both of you are openly exchanging merits for each other poor post.
Now tell me, what you expect from the forum/Mods/members?

We are not only supposed to follow  rules but also  ethics and moral obligations.

I think now you understand what exactly you (+ company)  have broken.

There is also no such rule here that says:

1)  A member should be given negative trust for suggesting ways to members here regarding cheating the merit system. For instance, to  this particular thread.

2) A member should be given negative trust for giving merits to his friends and family here.

Does this mean that a senior member should proceed now and give you a negative trust ? Rules do not even say that you cannot send merits to your alt accounts but you need to use your common sense man.

We have had this argument of brother / sister / boyfriend / girlfriend argument for a long time even before merits were introduced. People used to complain about their accounts being banned, along with their friend's account. This just doesn't cut any ice.
You got busted for sending merits to your alt. You are untrustworthy in the eyes of the community. Move on.

It's allowed. Nothing in the rules against it, and your not going to get a ban. A Global Moderator even saw your profile, and left you negative trust, without banning you.

It's looked upon as shady and untrustworthy to many people though, so they'll leave you a negative trust feedback, reflecting that they don't trust you. This is fine too, as you can technically leave trust to anyone you like.

Try posting constructive posts with the next accounts you decide to use, as you'll almost certainly stop using your current one as it blocks you from most bounties.

You haven't broken any rules.  You are unrestricted here on the forum.

Someone can distrust you even if you follow all the rules....
