Is the channel opening transaction slow?
i believe thus is what Op meant
There's no active channel.

Like as @apogio has said, low fee tend to delay transactions when the me pool is congested
You can check the size of the mempool via https://jochen-hoenicke.de/queue/#0,24h
If there are lots of pending transactions in the mempool and your fees are low
then it would take time before it gets confirmed.

You were right, now I finally managed to get an open channel.

I'll be locking this topic now.

Hello.

I don't understand from the post what kind of problem you face.

Is the funding transaction slow? Is the channel opening transaction slow?

Both these operations require an on-chain transaction so you must make sure the fee that is set is high enough.

Also take into consideration that in order for the channel to open, it requires 3 confirmations.

I am not aware of the services you have used, but I have tried LND and CLN and in both occasions it took approximately 1hr for the channels to open.

I started an LND node 10 to 20 minutes ago. It's hosted on Voltage (voltage.cloud) and is connected to fully-synced Bitcoin nodes via Neutrino (AFAIK). RIght now I have 4 peers, but there are no channels at all.

I'm not very sure whether I have access to the command-line for this node (edit: I do), but I do have LNBits and Thunderhub dashboards.

I'm trying to transfer some BTC to my lightning wallet so that I can avoid on-chain fee chaos.
