Due to decentralized and irreversible and pseudo-anonymous characteristics of bitcoin and bitcoin transactions, it would be highly recommended to deal only with trusted person for buying and selling bitcoins.
I like to suggest you to go buying bitcoin only from your friends/neighbors. Also there are many services are available to find out your local bitcoin sellers. But you need to be more careful when you will be dealing with strangers in person.

Hi,
is there any difference if I want to buy bitcoins, from which site to do so? Is there a list sorted where trusted sites are on top?
Yes, each exchanges have different buy and sell rates some are higher than the other ones sometimes it's the other way around. Also some exchanges locks other people account if they use the wallet for gambling. I suggest you to search for a local exchange or you could also check here if your country is in the list.

Now there are a lot of special exchangers. You just need to make a request to google. Find an exchanger, and then read about it reviews. In fact, now it is easy to do this. And without someone's help

We shouldn't put our trust on those well established exchanges though as it will give them too much power and creates monopoly as well as centralization and kills off the free market, I believe we must diversify in this case by spreading across different exchanges with considerably small and medium trading volumes.

Of course then the talk about trust comes in but every new service has to start from somewhere to gain our trust like the old and known exchanges right now.

If we diversify between these new companies with their signature campaigns specially in this forum then we can make sure no big hack or scam like the ones before happens.

Hi,

There is a pretty big difference among all the sites, other than the obvious question of trustworthiness like the others have already mentioned.

There is the problem of fees. Some bitcoin purchase sites require id verification for anti-fraud precautions. There are also peer 2 peer exchanges like LocalBitcoins, the same goes in that the fees might be higher if you are buying smaller amounts.

If you do not mind verification, I would honestly suggest Coinbase despite their fees.

If you're entirely new to the bitcoin network, better try with the localbitcoins. This has got access to most of the countries as well buying is easy to be made with much ease. It also supports different transaction methods for the bitcoin bought. Choose the one you feel convenient.

It does matter. You want to ensure that you use a trustworthy site for it so that you actually do end up getting the coins you bought. Check out localbitcoins. Make sure to look through the listing though an to choose a reputable seller that you can trust. You shouldn't have any issues then.
It is very difficult for someone to trust in the network without knowing this person. Perhaps only tips or slats navigator can help. Because it's not so easy to buy Bitcoin because it's not a simple currency.

It's really important to use only trusted and well known exchanges to buy bitcoins. I recommend it to check this website:
https://www.bitcoin.com/buy-bitcoin
Here you can choose exchanges by your country. Here you can find only trusted exchanges and you don't have to afraid to be scammed.

You didn't mention the payment method you are planning to use and where are you from but here is a full list of exchanges and their trading volumne (24h): https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/
It's not sorted by trust but It gives you an idea about how much money they handle every day, all of them should be trustworthy afaik but never keep your bitcoins there for long term, once you buy, withdraw to your own wallet.
