VASP's(virtual asset service providers) are mainly exchanges(currency swap services)
but currency swap services are not always just exchanges.. EG mixers are VASP's too

US regulations care mostly about regulating just the fiat-crypto gateways ("in-cash" conversion/facilitating services)
EU regulations are more intrusive wanting even the crypto-crypto services ("in-kind" conversion/facilitating services)

Does the Mica Regulation only apply to exchanges,
Mica only deal with business covered by mica, or you can say it crypto asset service provider, which help in crypto to fiat transaction or crypto to crypto.
And it is highly secured which prevent sending over other wallets by it safety regulations.

If you mean by this --> https://www.esma.europa.eu/esmas-activities/digital-finance-and-innovation/markets-crypto-assets-regulation-mica

It's better to read the entire thing since I am not from that region but it is for sure going to help you out understand that rule if you're from EU.

That is mainly tackling for the markets in the EU so, if someone as well understands that rule better and replies here to educate much better.

Hello friends,
I have a quick question.

Does the Mica Regulation only apply to exchanges, or are wallets and DeFi such as Trezor, MetaMask, Uniswap and ThorChain also affected?

Best regards
