I wonder why Bytecoin even exist?
Polo does it, but it looks like his volume still above 2 btc and it makes polo not try to delist bytecoin from his exchange site.
https://poloniex.com/exchange#btc_bcn

This.

They delist coins with low trading volume because they don't make any money from fees from them. As long as a developer keeps an eye on his coin and does a few buys and sells to keep the activity up when it dies down, the coin will stay listed forever.

I wonder why Bytecoin even exist?

in poloniex delist coin is only volume transaction is very low and not people trade again
if volume transaction is low without request certainly delisted
yes it is true that usually poloniex would do that and for those who had account at there usually they will get notifications by email the list of delisted coin from poloniex so no necessary to send them request because their system would do it
No, i never get any notifications in my email when they arr planning to delist some of altcoins which have low volume. They will announce it in poloniex under troll box 2 weeks before those altcoins get delisted.
I think its true poloniex doens't sending us in email or any update its just saying in troll box but polo is the best exchanger for me because they have a lot of investor not like in others exchanger......

Still for me poloniex delist coin is just nit famous or even known have a good potential....

Poloniex need to delist same coins, because some coins are no longer functioning and there is a need to reduce the load from servers.

Poloniex will always clean the house when they don't have proper volumes because it seems many people are not showing any interest towards the coin. Once the coin is not reaching the minimum level of volumes than Poloniex will delist those coins.

Poloniex delist dead coins every three months. The last time it was January 4, 2017. Next time it will probably be in mid-April.
But they announce two weeks before removing. So that could be this weekend.
Yeah that usually, so it might delist some of Altcoin which altcoin has low volume, I see three last position of volume is cure, bits and xbc, but some people are still trading with them as i see in last trade history

the term dead coin might be different for them, perhaps coin with development but w/o a % of trading volume is consider dead for them?

It depends on the exchange i guess
Yes, it depends from each exchange sites. They will delist some of altcoins which haven't reached min volume transaction. I don't know with Poloniex, but C-Cex will delist some of altcoins if their volume haven't reached 0.2 btc in a month imo.

Dont forget to add QORA in the list. It doesnt move for several weeks or months now. So much amount of Sells stucked in the pump and dump.
QORA (When i'm writing this post) still have ~19 BTC volume transaction which still considered "high" volume.

poloniex and other exchanges have different definition of a "dead coin".
what you think is dead, is making them money because it still has trading volume. so as long as there are people willing to buy and sell that coin, exchanges continue having that coin on their platform.

I wonder why Bytecoin even exist?

the same reason why all the other altcoins exist!
