Hey All,

Got a quick question.  I want to start using ZPool to mine LUXcoin.  when I edit the start .bat file, am I suppose to put in my bitcoin address, the LUX port and for the coin symbol, am I suppose to put in BTC or LUX?  Just want to make sure I do it right so I don't waste a whole day of mining.

Example below:  Trying to mine LUX and get paid out in BTC

-o stratum+tcp://.mine.zpool.ca: -u [-p c=,]

OR

-o stratum+tcp://.mine.zpool.ca: -u [-p c=,]

Also, what am I suppose to put in the Option section?

Thanks for your help, much appreciated.

If you want to be paid in BTC use this

-o stratum+tcp://.mine.zpool.ca: -u [-p c=,]

Take note of this statement from the zpool "YOU MUST ALWAYS set your currency in your password field that matches your wallet address: c=. "

don't worry about options as this is purely optional and you may skip it.

just having a issue setting up miningpoolhub in awesome miner Sad
Sucks being a noob lol

Speaking as a somewhat experienced noob, you need to create an account on miningpoolhub, create a 'worker' and then put your miningpoolhub username and worker name in the 'Worker name' field.

OPTIONS -> PROFIT SWITCHING -> enable 'Mining Pool Hub' and enter username.worker in the field.  (Obviously replace 'username' and 'worker' with your own data)

You also need to set up your miningpoolhub account with your BTC address and enable auto exchange.

Yes, zpool will have your rigs mine the most profitable coin they have, send it to the exchange and return to you the Bitcoin equivilent.

Awesome miner is fantastic, by the way.  I use it myself.

Woke up this morning to find I've lost $3000 worth of BTC that was in my nicehash wallet.  Ah well c'est la vie and all that...  So now I'm looking for an alternative and am confused.  I only started serious mining a couple of months ago and have lost the lot.

ZPOOL seems to pay out in BTC irrespective of what coin is mined.  Is this true?  I'm also trying out "Awesome Miner",setting up a "Managed Profit Miner" asks for a BTC address so again whatever I'm mining I can get paid in BTC.  This is ideal for me but is it so?  I'm hoping someone can confirm.  Help a guy out who is trying to get past the instant loss of $3000 supposedly due to the site being hacked.
