The first novelty that gets sold on e-bay usually fetches five times the second one.
With useless block erupters being sold for 100$ , I wouldn't trust e-bay prices for an indicator of value.

Well 4chan are basically adopting it as their currency and there is a huge market for trading amongst teenagers.  This could grow quite a bit.

On the other hand, its a meme coin.  It could die with the meme.  Either way its freaking hilarious such a joke getting out of hand like this.  Plus, (no pun intended) its the underdog at the moment.

Did someone actually pay for that auction? I thought eBay auctions were fairly notorious for having largely bid-up prices by fake buyers who never intended to pay in the first place.

That being said, I am totally with you on DOGE! It is great to see this currency gain more and more market share so quickly.

Here's the eBay listing that kicked this off: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-MILLION-DOGECOIN-DGC-Doge-Cryptocurrency-like-bitcoin-litecoin-dogecoins-/321274745738?pt=US_World_Coins&hash=item4acd77938a

Exchange is increasing quickly. Jumped from .3BTC to .5BTC in less than an hour. Might be 1 BTC on exchange as well by the morning.

Loving the interest in this currency. The best part is a lot of it isn't all speculation. There's people transacting, playing games, and more with dogecoin already.
