As long as there’s a hype, money will come and with meme token its seasonal so you can expect this from happening again and yes this is not the end for the meme tokens specially with DOGE and SHIB. This top two meme token seems different from the others and until not its not a scam project unlike the new meme tokens today.
I don't know exactly how safe it is to invest in DOGE and SHIB coins. But if you can invest now, you can make money from DOGE and SHIB. I think all altcoin prices are dumping now, including bitcoin, so now if altcoin. Also can keep some money invested in DOGE and SHIB coins then it will help to get a lot of profit after a long time. It seems that altcoin price will increase after few months.

I see a lot of users who don't really look into the real facts and just trust the OP's misinformation. It's a sad thing when people only respond but don't understand.
As @Oasisman said, the shiba inu dog is named Kabosumama and this is the dog's Instagram profile ( @kabosumama ).
I've also attached a link that giving away the fact that it's two different dogs. Hopefully users can be wiser in reading and understanding the information from the OP.

Is Kabosu still alive? Death of viral meme dog Cheems explained

I was thinking why did the OP give this misinformation. Doesn't he know? If he doesn't know about it, why doesn't he ask questions or seek clarification in his thread?

Man. Y'all's reading comprehension is just pitiful.

For the second time, it wasn't the Doge that died, it was Cheems... They're both Shiba Inus but two different dogs!!! Cheems was just a meme dog and had nothing to do with Dogecoin. Kabosu (Doge) is still alive. Here, I made a new meme to further explain:

Anyone who keeps repeating OP's misinformed nonsense earns a free spot on my ignore list.
LOL!
I was actually laughing literally at the OP's misinformation.
Ok so here's additional information for you all who believe it was cheems is the face of the dogecoin.
Kabuso is a shiba inu dog who became viral in the internet in 2013, while Cheems another shiba inu dog surfaced in the internet in 2017 (everyone can look it up in google for further info). Now, the question is, what year was Dogecoin first introduced again? Because it is IMPOSSIBLE to put a picture of someone you didn't know til the next 4 or 5 years.

This supposed to be not a big deal to argue about, but huge misconceptions starts with small misinformations.

I heard this news recently also in social media, and I didn't expect for it to be somehow mentioned here in crypto due to how people see meme coins as just money printing machine in the short-term.
The crux remains the same, it is a fun coin and it is a money printing machine just like all the alts out there, but we are open to everything in this space and so is the reason we have a alt section here in the forum  Wink.

Was not aware that the dog was alive till now. Legacy will continue forever.

The main thing is that it is really difficult to predict the future of the Crypto market, seeing the current state of these two alternative coins, many people may think that they may not be able to sustain. I myself often think that their future is dark. Maybe it is true that they are going to crash in the future. However, as I said, it is very difficult to make predictions about the cryptocurrency market, so it is impossible to say when these hype-based coins will pump and when they will dump. Since there are big whales behind them, a tweet from them can change their position

The internet was taken by surprise after the news the shiba inu, Cheems Balltze (12 years old), which inspired dogecoin cryptocurrency logo passed away after a battle against cancer. Not only inside the crypto community, the dog was pretty popular on several niches of the internet since the last decade and was probably known by people who didn't even have notice about Bitcoin or Dogecoin.
That's really sad to hear. However, he will surely be remembered for a very long time since his memes and the tokens created in his name will stay around for years to come, hopefully. Even if the currently existing meme coins don't survive very long, I'm pretty sure there will be people who will try and build more meme coins in his name by just changing the name or something, but, nothing can exist forever and everything will have to fade away over time.
I am very sorry for his passing, remembering this dog as a great motivation in making coin memes it was very touching when he died yesterday, a dog who inspired many people and thanks to him also many people benefited in 2021 at the time of the hype about the shiba and doge coin memes crazy that year.
We will definitely remember that forever, no matter if Doge or Shiba coins are no longer on the market, this will be the history of memecoin development in the crypo currency industry.

I wonder if his owner uses cryptocurrencies and has ever bought or traded DOGE coin which was inspired by his/her dog and that got huge popularity in the cryptocurrency world and is still pretty famous among cryptocurrency traders. It is the most famous meme token that has ever been created.
Interesting question, but I think the owner just knows but has no doge coin trading activity.

@jossiel - Hachiko story though is very different as it touch a lot of hearts and made us cry.  Cry
Yes, it's different but both of them are cute man's bestfriend.

Musk must attend her funeral.
Well, if he's in for the sake of being a hero since he loves the meme coin. If he's got a lot of time to be spent going onto Cheems funeral, then that would be another headlines and clout chase for him.

I am guessing by just that, there will be +%%.

I share my condolences for the death of one of the world's meme figures. However, she is just a dog who wasn't realized how famous she is. But I think in her last years alive she may have benefited from that fame after the original owner sold her genesis meme image (NFT) at auction for $4 million.

Anyway, R.I.P Kabosu (かぼす) Cry

That's not Kabosu (Doge), that's Balltze (Cheems)... They're two different dogs, lol. Kabosu is still alive. OP was wrong, which is probably why I had them on ignore. Here's a good way to tell them apart (Doge is on the left and Cheems is on the right):

Kabosu is actually a couple years older than Cheems. Only $DOGE is based on Kabosu, and $SHIB is based on $DOGE. There is no Cheems token AFAIK.

With the power of meme, Cheems would always live with us. Though most of us are personally not known to Chimes as an individual dog. His image would keep on ignite the thrill to contemporary as well as to future generations. Famous for meme phrases, Cheems doge face was a perfect icon for a pioneering electronic meme coin.

From Dogecoin which has been a part of the crypto community for so long. Then, Shiba Inu (token) came which is the actual breed of Cheems.

Sad to hear this, although I must admit that I didn't know that there is a real life Doge logo in Cheems Balltze.
This breed has got the same faces but we'll get to see the uniqueness when you own one. I don't also know that he's got a name and thought that it was just like a common picture on the web and just grabbed by the Doge developers. RIP to the most popular shiba inu.

I just the breed really created the first meme coins in doge coin and I will say that up to this day, it is still very relevant in crypto world and it has made it's imprint already that there are a lot of Dogecoin imitations out there.

Another hachiko story that has made significant heartfelt for most of its lovers, mostly for meme coin and dogecoin lovers.

Rest easy Cheems.

I didn't know that you've got a surname as well. But anyway, you're part of a great community and has contributed significant history to the world of meme coins and cryptocurrencies.

Cheems was a true memelord. He will be remembered for his many expressions and his ability to make us laugh. Grin RIP.

Such as life everyone will go according to their given time. But honestly, I thought the Shiba Inu token faced some trouble just like the other dead tokens in the past but as I read the OP means the literal dog who is the owner of the logo. Anyway, if I were the owner of Doge and Shiba Inu, I would use this opportunity positively to promote my products because of this trend and it cannot be missed since they are given free promotions from the Dog and maybe this is his last mission.

If i was the owner of that dog, i would definitely set up a wallet for donations in order to build a shrine for that doge. I mean it shouldn't be impossible donations from both shiba inu and doge communities. t would be good press and uniting the community to stand for good things and cute doggos.

But maybe they want to mourn in peace and don't want that cute dog to represent cryptos. I would totally understand that too.

UHH Turns out Cheems Balltze is even cuter looking at some of the photos shared on social media.

I don't really look deeply into the concept of the Shiba Inu logo because it's not a coin I want to invest in but with his passing many people are looking for a lot of news about Cheems Balltze, maybe they will lose their favorite dog but the memory will always be in the shiba inu coin meme that the community continues to hold.

As much I don't really like meme coins like Shiba Inu due to the way it was hyped, it's quite different for me whenever the symbol gets mentioned in me. It's quite heart warming whenever I imagine a dog being symbol of something.

I heard this news recently also in social media, and I didn't expect for it to be somehow mentioned here in crypto due to how people see meme coins as just money printing machine in the short-term.

The story is very touching; it's just sad that it happened like that. I'm sure that you will not be forgotten by all the communities here in the crypto space. The good story you told here will remain. I just felt sad because we can't do anything because all the animals are really passing by.

Honestly, I just found out that this Doge logo of a Shiba Inu has such a story. Stay strong and be happy.

This is farewell to a dog that gave us content and became famous more than alot of humans. The dog story is an interesting one. How something can be made out of nothing. Am not sad that it died. But the way it died that makes me sad. Maybe one day all this news about cancer will end and the world will be free of that demonic disease. Goodnight Shiba, goodnight Cheems.

I really thought that dog was already dead; I mean it was just social media and Doge Coin that kind of made it alive because of the meme, but again, that dog is really famous, and I was amazed with its story and journey in its meme and also in the Doge Coin story. Cheems will always be here in our hearts as the memes continue to live, as well as the Doge Coin.

Really touching story!!! Thank you for sharing the news. I did not know these details about a real Shiba Inu dog.
It's unfortunate that Cheems Balltze is gone, but it left a lasting impression on the crypto community that they will never forget.

It is certain that its owner will be very saddened by the separation of her beloved dog.

Amazing! To think I didn't know about the Doge/Shiba Inu meme concept was heavily inspired by Cheems Balltze. I didn't know there was a story to it and it feels satisfying to know that it's not just a random concept. I wish Cheems Balltze well and its owner as well. She can find solace in the fact that her dog inspired a lot of crazy trends and put smiles on the first of people.

Cheems Balltze might be good but the doge/shiba inu memes and trends inspired by those memes will continue to live on.
