It's hard to figure out how to interpret Musk's tweets. Either this is a kind of manipulation in the market, or the study of the situation and behavior of potential investors. But if this continues, then soon the statements from Mr. Musk will no longer be taken seriously, and then we'll see what will happen to the "people's coin" Dogecoin.
I believe these type of "billboard wars" going around is not really that smart, it is not going to affect or change anything, look at subreddit wallstreetbets and how they did bunch of billboards all over the nation for GME stock and look at what the price became, it was 360+ dollars, even 400+ dollars for a short while, and now it is 63 dollars after the "craze" started. As you can see even though everyone keeps saying they are "holding" they are not holding, if they actually held their stocks the price wouldn't have dropped this much.
This is why I do not care about some billboard dogecoin has, it doesn't change anything, price is still too high so that's fine, but the moment it starts to crash and people start to get out, some billboard will not be the reason why it doesn't crash, there won't be new people seeing that billboard and buying millions of dollars worth of dogecoin.

Obviously the majority have dump their GME holdings reason where the price drop so drastically, they will keep fooling some naive investors about them holding while behind the scene they are busy selling their GME stock,
It is hard to say if same thing will happen to dogecoin, but the shilling from the top affluence people is huge and making some people to think they could be missing out on something big in near future, some of my friends already talking so much about dogecoin and the huge opportunity of making big profit, am still not convince about it, am just taking my time, i don't want to get caught in the middle.

We really can't say 'No usability' of Dogecoin. Dogecoin is one of the cheapest transaction fees coins to transfer. So, when Elon said it's the crypto of people , it was not really that far fetched IMHO .

Dogecoin was shilled too much since the January of 2021. With my 4 years in cryptocurrency market, honestly it is my first time I have ever seen Dogecoin was shilled dramatically this way. More expansive shilling beyond tweets and simple news (listing news and some funny news in articles).
Advert is advert and it is way to make brand exposure and shill products, projects. Dogecoin will be more adopted in this year. Price, I don't know as I see it higher than what I can accept it.

Haha, that's brilliant and genius. Whoever paid for it really likes to have a massive dogecoin adoption. Maybe the profit that he took with Elon's tweets has a portion for that advert.

Not that something big, it's all pure hype and fun. The whales behind it sees opportunity with Elon's exposure on it.

Agree, these whales are just riding the hype, they want people to get it for them to unload more of their holdings.
When we see this kind of strong advertisement, we should be careful as we might regret in the long run, you know DOGE does not have a history of big pump, it only happen this year and therefore I can say it's not stable yet, it may dump and might continue to recover, means you'll be come a bag holder.

I don't know what is happening with dogecoin, but something big gonna happen. If I'm not wrong, there is big players behind with scheduled plans of making doge reach high in the market. The Billboard being played above the New York Police Department is the interesting thing with this advertising. Buying a small amount for about $200 and keeping hold of it could get us good profit.

But this is really getting serious. I have not heard of a news that Bitcoin was ever flashed like this one on timesquare. They make it look like its the preferred coin than BTC lol Elon would be very proud of his experiment that it could have a sky high price because of him. I know where it will go from here, the police department will be selling doge.
