The problemI had a nice SHIBANU 50k MS 68 Dogecoin floating around. And was in desperate search for a
firstbits explorer.
However... There aren't any. Publicly available at least.
Before you use this method
Make sure your firstbits don't show up on one of the official lists:
SHIBANU
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/inforeference-master-makeraddresslists-of-lists-2022902
Crypto Imperator
https://cryptoimperator.com/coin-addresses/
Then check via doge-explorer: https://dogechain.info/
After some talk to Jon I found this tiny manual hackaround:
The solution1. Visit:
https://privatekeys.pw/dogecoin/richest?page=12. Instead of ?page=1 enter ?page=XYZ, where XYZ is in the range of addresses with the amount of DOGE you are looking for.
3. Use your browser search on each page that has your amount of DOGECOIN to find your firstbits. Click and search through all the pages that show addresses listed that have your exact amount of DOGE.
4. If your coin (with your firstbits as public address) is indeed funded, you should find it somewhere in that list. If it was never funded, the address will not show on any explorer - you won't be able to find it anywhere.
Example 1- For the 50k Dogecoin, start here:
https://privatekeys.pw/dogecoin/richest?page=708- STRG+F and enter your firstbits.
Example 2- For the 10k Dogecoin, start here:
https://privatekeys.pw/dogecoin/richest?page=1962 (ends on page 2026)
- STRG+F and enter your firstbits.
Someone with basic scripting skills could probably automate the process quite easily.PS: Yeah, mine wasn't funded. Or if it is funded, it's something other than 50k. Sad. But at least I don't have to think about "peeling, trying to sell asap or hodl" all the time.
