Just as others have said it’s a binance smart chain pegged doge coin as the coin as its own parent chain. Now using an exchange will be easier to do the conversion to other chains. Yes binance will work perfectly for it but binance.us isn’t available in some places (I don’t know maybe it’s available at yours) and most exchanges do not support the pegged doge coin last i remember aside binance only MEXC actually do that, so if binance is restricted in your place you can simply try it out. Just get BNB as little as $5 or less for the fees. Be mindful of the chain you are sending out to as you can lose your asset of sent to a wrong address. Although some wallet will warn you if the address is a wrong one

Thread should be in altcoin board though

Dogecoin have its own network and it is not possible to change it's network. If you have seen a Dogecoin in BNB then it's a binance-pegged Dogecoin if you haven't known yet. This is the same as USDT which there's a trc20 (tron) and erc20 (eth network) and also in ETH which have its own network and also there's a binance-pegged ETH. You should be able to see that there's an ETH that is on bsc network and there's Dogecoin on same network because as I have explained, it is a binance-pegged ETH and Dogecoin.

What you have is the pegged Dogecoin that they have on the Binance smart chain. Dogecoin has now been pegged to the multichain, and for you to spend the one you have, you need to have the respective address, which is on the BSC (Binance smart chain).

Not all exchanges support that deposit, so if you must trade it, you need to use an exchange that supports it, like Binance right now, which accepts deposits and withdrawals of Dogecoin on the Binance smart chain.

To send it out, you need to have BNB to use and cover the gas fee for that transaction, as they can’t charge you from your doge balance but from the smart chain native token.

Hello. I have been dabbling in crypto on and off for the past few years. But something unexpected happened today. So, I have about $88.00 in Dogecoin in my Coinbase Wallet (this is the wallet for Android not the website) and I have been trying to transfer all of it to Coinbase. I have done this many times before. I transfer it, sell it, and put it in my bank account. But for some reason, it keeps saying that Dogecoin is on the BNB Smart Chain Network and it refuses to transfer it to Coinbase.

I thought Dogecoin had its own network? In the wallet, it doesn't have that Binance symbol under it but it is still considered BNB. This is very strange indeed. I tried to convert it to Ethereum but it won't let me do that. Coinbase supports Ethereum, so that could've worked. I can't think of anything else, except maybe sending all of it to Binance.US, converting Doge to Ethereum, and sending it to Coinbase. But the problem is, I'm dirt broke. I can't afford the fees (which is usually pennies) to send it to Binance.US. I need BNB to do that. But let me ask you, is it possible to change the network Dogecoin is using (BNB) back to the Dogecoin network?
