Despite the fact that Elon Musk does not yet know about Garlicoin, this coin has increased in price by 1000% over the past month. For myself, I can explain this price increase by the fact that this topic attracted the attention of potential investors to this coin. I hope the OP bought himself enough GRLC before posting this topic)

Yes. It seems like so. Last time I've checked, Garlicoin had a price of $0.02. Talk about an astronomical increase within such a short amount of time. Yet, this pump is not comparable as the one from Dogecoin. The good-old meme coin had bigger gains with an ATH of $0.08 per coin. At least, the momentum is building for GRLC. Luckily, I've managed to grab a huge stash of Garlicoins before the pump. That was a couple of years ago when Garlicoin was just starting to blossom.

Despite the current pump, I don't think Garlicoin will be able to sustain its current price for long. Unlike Dogecoin, Garlicoin has a very small community behind it. On top of that, the original developers have abandoned the project altogether. The future for GRLC seems bleak at the moment. Still, anything could happen in this strange and bizarre world of crypto. With a limited supply of 69 million coins, there's a possibility GRLC could reach higher prices in the future if it gains mainstream adoption. If Litecoin has a limited supply of 84 million coins and it's worth more than $200, than Garlicoin should be worth more than that if we take into account its scarcity. I'll be keeping a close eye on Garlicoin for any price movements on the market. Wink

As OP correctly wrote: "in this strange and bizarre world of cryptography, anything can happen". And if Elon Musk turns his attention to such a coin as GRLC, then I am sure that most exchanges will list this coin within a day. But the main question is, does Elon Musk need this?

All it takes is for a prominent figure like Elon Musk to promote Garlicoin and its price will go all the way to the moon. People just buy a cryptocurrency based on someone else's endorsement. The more famous that person is, the better exposure the cryptocurrency will get. Look how Dogecoin went from being worth less than a cent to eight cents per coin in a matter of months. That was all thanks to Elon Musk, and Snoop Dogg's praise towards it. The same could happen with Garlicoin if it brings their attention. But the odds are very slim, considering that GRLC has a very small market. Exchanges listing GRLC are little to non-existent. But who knows? With a total supply of 69 million coins, Garlicoin could become the next popular store of value in the crypto/Blockchain space. After all, Garlicoin is much scarcer than Litecoin.

Nonetheless, the crypto market is highly unpredictable. No one knows what an specific cryptocurrency will be worth in the future. Everything is just speculation. For now, GRLC remains a forgotten coin with no use cases for the mainstream world. That could change depending on people's interest towards it. Who knows if your stash of GRLC becomes worth thousands (if not, millions) of dollars (USD) in the future? Just my opinion Smiley

In all honestly, I have never used garlicoin in my tradings. I think, what sets doge apart from other meme or joke coin is that, doge developed into something more useful to crypto users like it is used by most for transfer purposes. Now, I don't think garlicoin can be used for transfer purposes as it is only listed in crex and freiexchange based on coingecko [ https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/garlicoin#markets ], so this coin can't qualify to be as transfer coin as it is not present in most top exchanges. Whereas, if you talk about doge market, they have long list and almost all exchanges have btc/doge trading pair. So I don't think grlc coin can evolve into something similar with doge. Doge just got its luck.

But if we are thinking of memecoins then there are plenty of other types to be considered before Garlic.

We have pepecoin, and then in Japan we have monacoin,,, and not to mention banano or even 1337 coin. I actually had some of all of those but gave up when I needed to focus my attentions.

Doge will also fall back down when the hype dies, only to rise again some day!

Among the many "meme" coins available on the market, Garlicoin seems to be the newest. I think it has a better chance of gaining mainstream adoption than others. Besides, Garlicoin has a limited supply of 69 million coins. It's much scarcer than Dogecoin and most other "meme" coins on the market. The reason why Dogecoin went all the way to the moon is because of Elon Musk's comments across social media platforms. People believe DOGE to be the next big thing in crypto, only because Mr. Musk says so. It's the hype of the moment, as people are driven into greed more than anything else.

Nonetheless, I'd be surprised if Garlicoin hits a new ATH because of the "Dogecoin" craze. With abandoned development, and loss of interest, the odds of Garlicoin gaining traction are very slim. What saves Garlicoin from going deeper is the finite supply of coins in circulation. Right now, GRLC is hovering between the $0.01 - $0.02 price range. Its rise is largely attributed to the current bull market. But once it's all over, we could see both Garlicoin and Dogecoin go all the way down the drain. It's best to take advantage of this short "pump" to secure as much profits as possible before it's too late. Otherwise, you'll regret buying and "hodling" such "meme" coins at current prices when they become worthless in the long term. Just my opinion Smiley

The Dogecoin "frenzy" continues thanks to Elon Musk's positive comments about it. What once started as a "joke", is now being taken seriously by people in the mainstream world. Those who got into Dogecoin before the GameStop craze, made a lot of money by now. DOGE now sits within the $0.07 - $0.08 price range on the market. If the hype persists, we could see higher gains in price for the "meme" coin.

All of this makes me wonder, will Garlicoin be next? After all, GRLC is a "joke" just like Dogecoin is today. Its creation was truly inspired by Dogecoin itself. Who knows if Garlicoin becomes worth $0.10 in the not-so-distant future? In this strange and bizarre world of crypto, anything could happen.

Thoughts? Huh
Possible but doesnt mean that coins or projects that are inspired with Doge will really be following Doges price increase or would be hyped next.I didnt hear off about Garlicoin
but we cant really remove the possibility about the chances because anything could really happen into this market same as you said.If you do have some money to spend off
or you could invest then you can choose to invest but of course you should be aware on the probabilities that it wont really be pumped out just like on what DOGE attained.

Another joke coins is mentioned by Elon Musk is Marscoin (even its a mislead mention), the coin pumped a bit then coming back dumped.
I think the joke supporter must be strong enough and prepared to be pumped unless its only last in a short time.
TBH, i never heard Garlicoin, is it smelly? Grin

Sooner or later we will see a dump. And then after a couple of months, DOGE will be pump again. Proving that it is just a "meme" coin.

Will Elon Musk tweet about it? LOL. In any case though, pumpers are looking for coins that will create hype and then do their fraudulent pump and dump so why not? Not be as hard as DOGE but maybe they could make money on GRLC and then that's it. Rinse and repeat.

I have doubts that the GRLC meme coin will have a future. I don't really believe in Dogecoin either. My opinion is that cryptocurrency is, in principle, a very unstable space that lives from one HYIP to the next. After some time, completely different projects will appear on the surface.

What is special to Garlicoin? If that so happen that Elon Musk is also promoting this coin, I'm gonna say it will follow to Doge but unfortunately, I don't hear any. Did I miss something?

Garlicoin is a shitcoins, I don't think if there is someone who can afford to buy it, probably it was just ignored. Maybe, it was enough for the hypes now. I was looking forward to seeing that only potential altcoins will do the rally, not these shitcoins. I could drop my ball if there is no trap awaits us.

^ Dogecoin is just hype, nothing else important on this coin that soon to be popular in the market when a hype dies, dogecoin will turn back into a shitcoins which is all altcoins are not good to invest right at this moment. All altcoins are a matter of the bull market but when it was ended, it goes back to a shitcoin. If you noticed all altcoins now that don't have value before and now have a value, probably that is similar to this altcoin that they will never grow. Nevertheless, regarding garlicoin, I don't have any idea if this coin will survive in a long run.

Garlic coin is a dead coin since a long time ago and it's not comparable with doge coin as the old coin that still exists in the market. We can see that from the daily volume of garlic coin and it's very strange for this coin to be pumped. it doesn't even have a good market to be used by the traders to pump it. If it was traded on uni and im sure the traders will pump it but it's only on crex24 exchange site and that's a crap exchange site.
Garlic will never be pumped. The only big spread in the market that makes it looks like already pumped.

there are so many joke coin and meme coin not just dogecoin and garlic coin but dogecoin is the most popular of them all maybe because it was a dog ? and people loves dog and the logo of doge coin is no doubt pretty cute .

we have toiletpaper coin on the past and covid/corona coin which hyped at first but didnt lasted long although the covid is still here but garlic coin sounds more serious and garlic coin wasnt well known yet so i dont think that elon musk heard of it and will pump it .

We never know but if ever Elon tweet or shill it, people will question his motives, what's with Garlic coin, that it needs pumping, everybody has heard or read about Dogecoin but Garlic coin, this is the first I read that name, Elon Musk if people want to take him seriously should start promoting legit coin in the market, not a coin that is unheard of.

I never heard about Garlicoin before, while almost every crypto enthusiast knows DOGE, like it or not.

So it's much less possible for the next pump to be Garlicoin. You could ask the Reddit admin for some heads-up tip (ask share it in a PM Smiley )

Garlicoin need to rise up 3 times to get $0.10 and I think it is possible in the bull market for crypto. It can happen after few minutes, few hour or after you take a sleep and wake up. However, I think Garlicoin will be corrected after its x10 growth recent weeks. After the correction, it is possible to see another high for GRLC.

I doubt that GRLC won't be like Dogecoin, due to for what is good about in Doge was they've build a strong community
in this field of crypto business. It became an sleeping giant before but look what happened now suddenly spike its price
in the market, but I doubt it will reach 1$ this year, just an opinion only.
Dogecoin is old and has good adoption from gambling sites, merchants, exchanges and big volume every day on the market. All of that, the Garlicoin does not have at the moment. In past 24 hours, the total trading volume of Garlicoin is less than $2000. It is not a coin to trade with average or big capital.

Of course the strengths of Doge and Garlicoin are very different doge is a top coin and has been around for a long time besides it the market and volume are very high very different from the coin you mentioned, namely Garlicoin volume and the market is still too small It took a long time to equate Doge with Garlicoin in the eyes of crypto users

i never heard about garlicoin before, if garlicoin can do the same thing as dogecoin, it means we can buy them and keep them for a great investment, but for now, but for now, i don't think garlicoin can become the next dogecoin, except "musk effect" going on again.
but still, we never know what will happen in the future.

It sounds like "Garlinghouse", a known scammer, so I expect it won't be successful because people are remind of fraud.

Meme coins are very unique and to make a professional one, devs really need a good meme.

Yeah, some crypto popular then other copy-cats that crypto.

The copy-cats will never beat the original, even now Elon tweeted DOGE but the coins was still joke coins, and don't ever take it seriously for this case. But guess what, no matter joke or did the project was worth or not to be invested when some populer guys or famous people tweeted or shiling about them everyone doesn't care anything.

Garlicoin next? we already have one joke coins so for what again we need another and did garlicoin got metion by Elon even I not answer that question you already know the answer.
