It's an interesting case study into what we value. People are having fun hashing/collecting these and so it's taking off. It's almost like a collectible crypto or something. Certainly something different.

value= fun

Its like the opposite of fontas and the stress of BTC-e.

It certain is much more relaxing and fun than the stress of trading.

Mind you, it can be fun to screw around in the trollbox as well. Smiley

I just don't want to particpate becomes it could easily happen where everyone decides to bail

Agreed. Participating in such a coin necessitates risks: hashes wasted.

Im getting to 100 mill and then deciding if I want to bail out or dont want to.  I just know I like it and its a breath of fresh air to tech crypto.  Its how I feel.  Its nothing more than that.  Its like the opposite of fontas and the stress of BTC-e.

i have no idea wtf the whole 'doge' thing even is. Ive never come across it before til this coin was released! But its so easy to mine, its not worth NOT having a stab at it for a few hours.
I put 1500 khash at it and within about 4 or 5 hours was upto almost 500,000 coins...sorry...much coins. Need a bit of luck tho as the reward swings from peanuts to gazillions!
This shit is so mental you just cant be too sure wtf someone might pay in a few months time. Im getting to 1million then bailing back out...id guess most people are doing the same.

I bought 1.15 mill for .04BTC when it was still cheap then mined another 300k

So, that's around $30 for a million doge. Really, I'm still scratching my head. Should I being using my radeons for doge instead of litecoin?

Going rate is .1 BTC / 1 M DOGE. I've made several succesful trades last few days, as have several others at doges.org and reddit.

The most fascinating thing to me are the number of unfulfilled orders where people have been unable to find sellers.

I don't know about you but I've been seeing some eye raising trades. People appear to be paying real BTC for doge... appear being the operative term. What I do know is that the net hashrate has gone up 66% in a day. People are hashing this. Am I the only one such wow, so amazing, much coin?
