I do not get why he picked doge, that's the weird part. I mean he could have picked any coin that actually had a meaning, but he went along with a "meme coin" instead because it was funny. When you look at the finances and the underlying code, dogecoin is one of the worst coins out there, it is centralized with few people having most of it, it is boring old way of blockchain, it has no usecase, it is basically just a meme coin.

Back in the day I bought some as well because we were donating to some charity and I wanted to be a part of that so I bought doge and donated that to help people out, that was a good reason to buy doge, but buying it to make money? That was never a good reason until Elon showed up, not people think it is smart to buy doge, where in fact the only reason to buy is elon, and that one day will end and the price will crash very hard.

I have been seen some millennials shilling dogecoin on twitter and their tweets don't have anything useful about the project other than the fact that it would pump, pump and only pump. A lot if those dogecoin army members know this but they don't mind as far as their bag gets more worth anything Elon Musk tweets about doge.  The bear market doesn't come for the next couple of months so I think we would still see some upside movements for DOGE. Most meme coins in the space today have been pumped very much just like dontbuymeme. This SNL event should pump up doge price more if BTC doesn't take a dive.

For the past months he became the father of DOGE hyping this all way up and now DOGE is bouncing back again and May 8 is approaching, we don’t know what will happen but Elon Musk made a huge impact on DOGE and on his every tweet, people will react right away. There’s no specific reason why he choose DOGE, but it looks like he likes meme and he’s making a lot of money with DOGE.

Well, he probably has a firm decision why he's only for Dogecoin that he tweets most of the time. But he's also liking bitcoin. Let us wait until he finalizes and starts tweeting about bitcoin for many times. That will be the signal that he's now stepping in to keep the rally of bitcoin that shall push it towards to the next ATH.

Elon musk has been the huge figure behind dogecoin and he has made some tweet in his handle lately that has made dogecoin fly really high. Some of such tweets are captured on the quote below

Quote
Musk tweeted quite a bit about Dogecoin in February, posting comments like, “dogecoin is the people’s crypto," "No need to be a gigachad to own,” and, “No highs, no lows, only Doge."

Following that flurry of tweets, the price of dogecoin surged more than 50 percent.

ON SNL(Saturday Night Live) May 8 , Elon musk is set to appear at NBC show. He said he would talk about dogecoin at the show. Musk is about to pump doge more and just announcing to attend the show has boosted the doge to going back to the ATH

MAFIA MUSK LOL!

Despite all the negative comments here about Musk, let's not forget the innovation he is bringing on on a daily basis. All these geniuses have their dark sides, no matter who it is. Steve Jobs, Bill Gates or Elon Musk, you can read horror stories about all of them and how they socially misbehave(d).

And if the worst thing Musk does is shilling DOGE, I think on average he is still a better person inside than most of us.

This is what happens when a socially awkward kid gets popular.
He might be a billionaire, but he's still a sad little bullied kid inside

P.S: lets not forget

He knows that he has become a social influencer and market manipulator at this time as he is taking undue advantage of these circumstances by pumping the prices of Dogecoin just by tweeting about it.The Doge market cap has crossed $46 billion and prices went to ATH of $0.4 with 85x growth within 3-4 months of period. These are some insane price surges we have seen in some altcoin and that of a coin started as a meme with no development and growth opportunities ahead. He knows the reality that's why he proudly claims to be DogeFather which in reality he is.But for some his tweets turned to be a life changing moments like for this 33 investor:

https://www.google.com/amp/s/gadgets.ndtv.com/internet/news/dogecoin-investor-says-he-became-a-millionaire-in-2-months-2423547%3famp=1&akamai-rum=off

He went from $180000 to be a millionaire in just 69 days by investing in Dogecoin inspired by Elon Musk tweets. So all the these incidents further provoke him to believe he is real pumper of Dogecoin in the market. And now in this interview he will speak positive about Dogecoin like colonization of Mars and making it official currency of Mars which will spark flames in market to flow huge funds into Dogecoin.Just wait for real time. But in the end the prices tend to rise and people will prefer some other altcoins and bitcoin for use and investment.

I saw this tweet recently. I have no idea what this man wanted to do, maybe he invested a large amount in doge. Someone who has done great things like him so far should not be so stupid. I mean, you have so much power, you strive for the future of humanity (or want to be seen that way), but when comes to the crypto market, one of the worst. I hope he gets what he wants and this nonsense ends soon.

I think it's normal for him to claim himself like that because everything he does to Doge starts with the tweets and the pump which I would say is crazy.
Many people are not sure when Elonmusk said the doge will fly high to today's numbers but it is all becoming reality now.
I think it is natural for elon to say that he is a dogefather because in my opinion if for example elon does not pump the doge at that time the doge is still in its original place and people still think of it as nickels and meme coins
