New to altcoins and Looking on coinmarketcap, the dogetoken chart andprice on the Stella exchange is a completely different. Am I looking at it wrong? Can anyone explain? The price is up and down on coin market but looks to stay the same on Stellar

Does anyone trade dogetoken or use Stella exchange, thank you

Price changes occur at Stellar. When the Stellar price rises, the chart of other coins that are exchanged for Stellar will turn green. If the price of Stellar falls, the chart of coins exchanged with Stellar turns red. Although there is no change in price between Stellar to Doge-Token.

The API has been updated, the exchange rate between the two sites is the same. This morning I opened the top of the most volatile cryptos and saw the DOGE TOKEN increase over 10,000x.
A few weeks ago I read that the DOGE coin was on BSC and it was never on the Stellar chain.
DOGE TOKEN is a completely different project from the DOGE coin that we know. Even so, the image of the dog and the name do not seem to be too different.

Much better if you check on the price on where it is being traded. Coinmarketcap and coingecko has averaging the price of tokens to those who are exchanges where the token is being traded and also reference the buy order. It it is confusing cause mostly you will thought that your token pump but when checked the volume its so small and only few orders were made.

It's the only exchange that's being listed on CMC and I think if there's a difference that's only a matter of quick variance of volatility that hasn't been catched by CMC. But I see no difference on it because the price is indicated in USD and maybe what you're looking at is the pair of XLM/Doge token.

The exchange rate difference that occurs between the two websites is due to an API update issue from coinmarketcap's exchange. I noticed that transactions on Stellarterm are regular and the volume is quite good. This token is still not listed on coingecko, it is actually easier to observe on this site.

There might be a problem with API that owned by stellar term. You can try to ask the stellar term team regarding it. I guess this is not only happening with doget but there are some coins that were getting the wrong update on its price.
It's caused by the API can't deliver the correct data to the CMC.
