I couldn't imagine the outcome if he actually slipped.

He'd land on his feet then roundhouse kick the truck off the road.

I couldn't imagine the outcome if he actually slipped. It was very impressive. But, they could of done some bloopers and uploaded them to youtube separately from the advert. It would of been a much better way to advertise. I should imagine it would of went viral.

Watch it if you haven't seen it yet. Bump it to HD and make it fullscreen.

That's just the leather upper on his boot sticking up.

At first, the boot was leaning down, than pops straight up prior to the separation. Also, here's the teaser http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yatg89gi0nM showing two semi rigs will be used. In the "one take" video, the Volvo on the left is a panel truck, whereas only the one on the right is a semi rig. It looks like only the panel truck is moving away while the semi rig continually hugs the line.

That's correct. Which only makes it more believable. Still not trivial.

I've watched the video a few times, but for the first time I bumped it up to HD and went fullscreen with it. It's really a beautiful and hypnotic piece of work.

Looks to me like Volvo is about to go into defense mode. Going to Google to see anybody else picked it up.

Watch Jean-Claude Van Damme carry out his famous split between two reversing trucks. Never done before, JCVD says it's the most epic of splits -- what do you think? Please share & comment!

This live test was set up to demonstrate the precision and directional stability of Volvo Dynamic Steering -- a world first technology that makes the new Volvo FM easier to drive.

Filmed in Spain on a closed-off landing field at sunrise in one take.
Directed by Andreas Nilsson
Soundtrack by Enya: Only Time

I mean this looks almost impossible, but if they faked this, and it got out?

If it is real I very much hope they made some form of documentary or at least an "the making of"!

Seriously, nobody else saw it? Look at :42s.

That was totally amazing! Try doing that a regular highway oppose to on an airport runway. What's even more amazing is that his right leg detached from its foot, but he still held without grimacing in pain.
