There's Federal Ruling that applies to deadly force. Not one person's opinion, not another person's opinion. But the opinion of the Supreme Court. And every deadly force incident is judged by this ruling.

Do the circumstances fit the standard?
Does the fleeing felon pose an immediate danger to others?
Is it reasonable to believe if not immediately apprehended, he could use the stolen weapon on others? Or use is to steal a car and kill someone else while DUI?
Did the cops already know this guy had a violent record of child endangerment and kidnapping?

Those are all questions to be answered by prosecutors and judges, under the "reasonableness test."

So a cop shoots an unarmed man in Atlanta last night.  Things go to shit.

and of course Donald "Nero" Trump is tweeting while Atlanta's Wendy's is burning.

Personally I did not think badly of Trump back then but he certainly has proved time and time again that Kano is correct I am a stupid idiot moron.

Oh well just another day/night in America.

To be fair. the black guy was most likely drunk and was able to prevent two cops from hand cuffing him.

He also pulled the taser from the cops belt and took off running.  He fired the taser at one cop possibly hitting the cop.

The other cop shot him in the back dead.


My thoughts  a taser is not a deadly weapon.

Taser was fired and therefore dead so no weapon.

Cops had already searched the guy and knew he had no other weapon.

Cops had his id.

So the cop's procedure:

 Was check on your buddy cop.
 Call in the issue and get 25 or 50 cops to find him with K-9 units.

Or

Blow him away.

Cop picked blow him away.

Oh two fires were set new my home in Howell ,NJ last night. I wonder why?

I would have proffered they called in backup and K-9.
