Out going president Trump has been in the forefront this time and it's a very hot one for him. I don't blame the legal practitioners for not taking to his side @President Trump. There are a lot at stake for them the legal practitioners than Trump with regards to their career. What excels you in the the field is how many cases you've won and not lost.
The stakes at hand in this case is that of;
America as a whole
That of the electorial body and process
So, it's very much looking like a lost course and with the fact that, it's void of evidence, there seem to be no base on it. Trump has got to let loose this one though, accepting defeat haven't been his kind of person but, you've got to know when your defeated.

Are you saying that President Biden and his team are going to drum up bullshit stories about white nationalists and terrorism being connected as a way to strike down on whiteness? Not exactly sure on what you’re saying is going to happen here.

Not 'Biden and his team' per-se.  More the people who manage and animate them.  But ya, that's about the size of it.

Is this an investigation into the Capitol riots? Is it something just bullshit they all make up?

I was expecting a gaslight show and was not disappointed.  It's basically exceptionally clown-shoe ridiculous theater to people who have studied this stuff.

Is it a way to expand on legislation relating to government surveillance of our lives?

In part, yes, but a lot of things fall into that category.

More it's a situation where American citizens are the threat to 'security' both national and international.  Not so much now, but when certain future things happen.  The best time to deal with a threat is before it become to big to be controlled.  So, 'preemptively.'

The most efficient way to win a war is to get the adversary fighting itself, then just stand back.  If they can they'll get a civil war going.  Americans are so fattened up and dumbed down, though, that this might be a challenge.  Probably the only way to do it would be push 'whitey' into a corner, and that seems to be the direction they've chosen.

Not even sure on why they would do this, curious on your reasoning.

As with any complex thing, there tend to be a bunch of reasons.  I would pretend to understand them all or even to be aware of them.  One of the big ones would surely be related to the question of 'how to remain on top through a monetary re-set' at the end of a debt-backed currency regime.

I suspect that some groups with a particularly strong sense of religious conviction and various commandments and prophecies would be the Jewish sects because some of them are quite well connected.  Even here, though, I think they are more of a tool and a smoke-screen for a different, if related on a esoteric level, group who are close to the actual core of things.

...  There will be attacks, most likely fatal attacks, which will likely face a stronger police response than last time, and an aftermath in which Republicans will face a difficult choice and be forced to take a side.

Count on it.  A lot of sleeper cells are waking up now, I would guess, in case there are not enough organic problems.  And I'm guessing there won't be enough.

If you 'see something, say something record it, then put your phone in a metal box.'

No attacks, no nothing.

Everything went find, Joe Biden is the President. That’s the end of the conspiracy about when the next attack is coming. It was never coming, QAnon lied, surprise surprise.

But onto the topic here, I don’t think that Trump will be found guility. Mitch will probably kick the can on the whole thing and say that the country must move on. President Biden will probably be fine with that too b/c he wants to show unity and everything.

They've got to get some new department heads in place, vet the staff, create the story-boards, cross-check that the pool of patsies is still looking good, etc.  It's possible for actual Americans to accidentally get into the apparatus (Paul Craig Roberts, Charlotte Iserbyt, etc.)  Less likely now, and especially under Trump, but it could happen, so need to lint out such people.

I'd expect 3 to 6 months before the real kinetics start.  In the mean time look for a huge ramp-up of the 'white nationalist terrorists' and such-like panic to be whipped up in the mainstream media.

The totally partisan impeachments of President Trump say more about Democrats than Trump really. Let history show that.

including amnesty to illegal immigrants

america. the country of descendants of migrants.. that seem to hate migrants.
hey if you dont want people coming into america. then lock yourself in and have no escape. because if other countries had american attitudes about america then america would become a prison camp.

seems trumpettes dont believe in freedom and liberty

No one hates immigrants. Trump and most of the GOP supporters don't have any problem with legal immigrants. However, they don't feel very comfortable with the 10-15 million illegal immigrants who reside in the United States. There is a big difference between legal and illegal immigrants. Apart from the United States, I don't think that there is any other country in the world which tolerates this many illegals in their territory. Freedom and liberty doesn't mean inviting half of the world population to your house. If they want to immigrate to the US, then they need to do that legally.

10 Republicans crossed over partisan lines and voted with Dems to impeach him.

Strategically, the Dems had to make the move as it puts Republicans in an impossible position - A) denounce their leader, or B) be seen as complicit in (and supportive of) the storming of the Capitol and the attempt to subvert democracy.

It will be interesting to see how many Republicans stand alongside the Democrats once the actual trial takes place. I think there is actually a reasonable chance of Dem success, as more Republicans will surely desert their master after what I suspect will be a messy few days as we approach the Biden inauguration. All 50 states are on alert for armed protests. There will be attacks, most likely fatal attacks, which will likely face a stronger police response than last time, and an aftermath in which Republicans will face a difficult choice and be forced to take a side.

It is possible that many more GOP legislators would denounce Donald Trump. IMO, the GOP should distance itself from Trump as soon as possible. Trump fell into the trap set by the ultra-left despite repeated warnings. Now it is his problem. But if the GOP doesn't distance itself from his actions, then Biden/Kamala may use this opportunity to set their agenda in motion, including amnesty to illegal immigrants, increasing the strength of the SCOTUS and granting statehood to Puerto Rico.

However, if there truly was election fraud with foreign countries involved, it was observed by the 305th Military Intelligence Battalion on November 3rd and 4th. This means that, according to Trump's September, 2018, Executive Order, the whole USA has been under some kind of limited martial law.

This means that essentially everything that Congress has done while under limited martial law, including the impeachment, doesn't really have any effect... and maybe never will even after the limited martial law is lifted.

Trump isn't telling us his strategy. But notice how quiet Sidney and Rudy have become? Too many of Trump's plans have been leaked already, at a time when Trump supporters thought that Trump would have acted by now. So, Trump is simply playing the whole thing out as it would flow naturally... no extra steps necessary that we need to know about.

Thirty thousand troops around the Capitol for an inauguration is unheard of. Why are they really there? Surely it isn't to simply protect Biden and Trump. Something else is going on.

This is really good that Trump has been impeached two times.

The first time was over some Russia stuff that was proven wrong. At the same time it was proven wrong, it was found that Biden blackmailed the Ukraine so that Hunter could make a bunch of money... $3.5M. Then Biden bragged about it on video, thereby making himself legally unable to hold Federal public office.

But the second impeachment is the winner. Since it has been done in the final days of Trump's Presidency over essentially nothing, it shows what kind of cowards and criminals exist in the House under Pelosi.

These stupid Leftists keep on showing us how bad they are more and more.

They wouldn't impeach him, with only a few days left in office, if they weren't afraid that the truth of their election fraud might leak out, or that Trump was going to fix the election fraud issue. The Left gives themselves away all the time.

Of course, The federal government has to do something - anything - to show that they have a valid reason for existing.

Donald Trump has been formally impeached by the House of Representatives for the 2nd time during his Presidency. 10 Republicans crossed over partisan lines and voted with Dems to impeach him.

News reports are saying that Trump is having a hard time finding lawyers to represent him in the next impeachment trial - https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-01-14/trump-struggles-to-build-legal-team-as-impeachment-trial-nears - Lawyers that Republicans typically rely on are privately saying that they’d tarnish themselves by taking on this indefensible action of trying to overturn a democratic election.

SML Mitch McConnell has stated that he will not reconvene the Senate early to bring impeachment to the Senate side. We’ll see what the next session looks like in with Schumer as the majority leader.

Donald Trump now represents half of the total impeachments for all US Presidents.
