Even if he is bringing the audience with BTC, I like it. The fact is that there's actually no better time for Trump  to use bitcoin without generating public curiosity. However, I don't also have high hopes on this Trump Bitcoin stunts, because we had seen this type of show with Elon Musk and how it ended.

We are all free to meet Trump's actions with different feelings and reactions. But in all cases, bitcoin is being promoted. We are no longer skeptical of bitcoin future but very confident that the best is yet to come.
I wish Trump all the best.

It is still very safe to say that Trump is the most promising candidate to promote the bitcoin in the communities of the United States if he wishes to do so. The problem is that Trump is also an unpredictable person, and can not be relied on as much , he can deviate sometimes when he probably gets what he wants.

He is nearly 80 years old and from the video it can be seen that he has difficulty even using a phone, let alone using bitcoin, so it is understandable that he needs an assistant to help. But this also shows that his aides are also interested and know how to use bitcoin, and that means there are a lot of bitcoin advocates in his administration. This is a more positive sign that if he is elected, we may get softer policies from his administration.

It's all political gimmickry, Harris is also using other promises and tricks to attract more votes for herself. That's how politics works so we don't have to be so hard on them and expose them.

The most important thing we need to care about is that he is the first US president to use and support bitcoin, so there is no reason we should not vote for him.
I am willing to bet it's not even his phone. But even if it is, and while this has technically not happened before, i can't see this as a win for bitcoin. Only positive side i can see is that people can see that even dumb old geezers can use it as payment.

But trump last person i would like to be btc associated with. And why is it with crypto people who idolize villains and dictators for praising bitcoin? Btcoin and other cryptocurrencies has notoriously been associated with scammers, fraudsters, criminals and it's been 15 years and 8 months, and we haven't still shaken that connection.

News don't like to write about tech behind new innovations, or large donations that for example vitalik has done with crypto. So why do we want to give them this association in a gold platter?

I mean... i googled the word "fraudsters" and immediately got wikipedia's rather short list of fraudsters, that trump was on. He has been convicted multiple times and it doesn't even surprise anyone, that doesn't understand the whole concept of crypto. He just wants to throw words like "crypto", "wallet" and "bitcoin" to attract this voter base. It doesn't take long before he starts to refer himself as crypto guru, and saying how he understands crypto better then anyone would believe, and how everyone is saying he is probably is satoshi nakamoto.

Former U.S. President Donald Trump recently made a historic moment in the cryptocurrency community by completing his first-ever Bitcoin transaction at PubKey, a renowned crypto-themed bar in New York. This event took place shortly after he survived an assassination attempt, further capturing public attention.

Donald Trump made history as the first former US President to promote Bitcoin; yesterday, he made another headline. I watched the video and it was evident that the former president knew little or nothing about using Bitcoin. At least his aides would have taught him to use a scan code to make payments with his phone. He also seems not to be much interested in the process because he just walked away immediately after the transaction. The Trump I know would have spoken about the history he made and acknowledged the cheers from people around. Nevertheless, he has made history as the first ex-president to use Bitcoin publicly. All these political stunts are targeted at getting more votes and donations from the crypto community.

Spot on. All this political show was probably an idea of someone very close to Trump and aware of the popularity he currently has within the Bitcoin community, because of the stuff he has said, he was convinced to do this by some of his aidees so he can continue to collect more for his campaign (at this point, I don't know how much money he actually needs to keep running his campaign, to be honest, keeping in mind he is being funneled money from Elon Musk and other people within the elite).

Also, the news of Trump escaping another assassination attempt while he was playing golf does not have anything to do with the fact he decided to become the first ex-president to ever use Bitcoin.

Yes, he is a good fellow, although he is a respectable age, but a man understands his business.
