No offense to anyone wishing to donate sperm, but I meant it when I said it is harder to be chosen as a sperm donor than it is to get into Harvard. The sperm banks run tests on you like you wouldn't believe. Its not like they're trying to find alpha male sperm or anything, but they do absolutely everything in their power to make sure that that sperm would make a healthy baby.
As far as paint thinner and fertilizer-I had no idea sperm could be used for those. I also have no idea how I got into this conversation.

Sperm banks go through a lot of medical testing and protective measures to make sure that you aren't donating any dangerous traits or STDs in your semen. I'd guess thats the reason it isn't widely done.
Yes, but I'm thinking more of the anonymity angle for this. For anonymous donation you can simply put a used condom in a cold thermos flask and post it. BTC sent the other way gives true anonymity.
