Donating through bitcoin/crypto isn't new — I mean, we literally had a $10m+ donation to the Ukrainian government/charities.

Not sure if the crypto community in general would be keen to donate to religions though, besides probably some people with the same faith.

Donations with crypto isn’t new for many people.
I have witnessed many people in order to remain anonymous have donated through Cryptos (basically Bitcoin).
I am unable to recall the proper incident, but some months back, i heard a news that some hackers hacked a crypto wallet that had large amounts of Bitcoins and stole all the coins.
Later from the stoled part, they donated some in some charity.
It was highlighted all over the social media few days back.
So yes coming to the OP, Donating with Bitcoins are already done and also been doing currently at many places and it’s not a great deal or issue in the current situation according to me.

the purpose of "donation" is a humanitarian act that must be continuously raised and this action is very important and should always be appreciated. the possibility that bitcoin can be used as a platform to be used for distribution is of course very doable and is likely to be more accessible to many people, compared to channeling through a bank account wallet which is obviously more reachable only in areas where banking can be used.

but the most important "donation" distribution is that the person who collects it can be known and is already known, because any fundraiser can always be misused. for that indeed every "donation" opening is indeed by an institution that is known and recognized.
although it would be better to use via bitcoin which is easier.

Donation via Bitcoin will help cut off possible barriers in donation that involves cross border donation,... using Ukraine's donation as an example,  it helped swiften the process of that donation and make it more easier for more and more people whom might have find it somehow difficult to be part of that process assuming they weren't using Bitcoin for donation to participate.

Donating with bitcoin is very convenient and we can donate from anywhere in the world, it's good that bitcoin is doing things that fiat can't.
However, many governments still see bitcoin as an enemy, accusing BTC of being a tool for criminals to use. After going through the Russia and Ukraine war, they will be ashamed of their accusations against bitcoin earlier.
perhaps after the Russian war Ukraine passed most likely the government will return to its habitat, the government will again antagonize bitcoin and accuse bitcoin, now that countries are at war they can accept bitcoin donations and switch to bitcoin to avoid sanctions.
That is what they make their money from. I can talk about only a few countries but let's take the USA for example because we all know them. They will act as if that is a good thing right now because we use it to donate to Ukraine, and that is not a bad thing, that is actually quite good but even during this period they used "Russians are bypassing sanctions using crypto" as a bad evil thing.

So, even during a good time, they could use this like it is some bad thing and that is a big problem. I have to say that the biggest reason they will come back is the fact that wall street may tell them to shut bitcoin off, not completely because it can't be done, but at least harsh regulations to make it a difficult thing.

It is fine to make donations with bitcoin,  this can only be possible to those of your friends and family who have knowledge about bitcoin.  I guess you are not only receiving bitcoin as donation because their are some people who can only make donations  with  fiat,  you just have to accept it, maybe this set of persons have never used bitcoin for transaction,  don't stress them to pay for donation with bitcoin,  accept  whatever that is available for the donation.

This thread never suggests you donate here or somewhere else with your cryptos. I want to remind you how we can implement Bitcoin or other Altcoins in our daily life. We can use the crypto industry in every possible way in our life. It'll open new doors of opportunities.

Well, Bitcoin has had opened a lot of opportunities and crypto donations/charity is nothing new, no need to remind everyone in crypto space because majority of us here knows how convenient Bitcoin is in terms of international charity donations. Everyone knows how convenient it is for the charity organizers and for the crypto donators especially that it does not require third party money processor to convert from your fiat to USD.

We already have in our local section a bitcoin charity program and based on the progress they had, they really help lots of people the people they helped are children who are orphans that have no parents to support them. It's once to see the smile on their faces when you help them, though it's just a small thing to us, for them, it's unforgettable happiness. When donations will really get to their rightful owner, it's a wonderful satisfaction for the donators to see those smiles and appreciation.
It should be appreciated if you already have a charity program that has been going well, because at a time like this what is needed is that the donations that will be distributed can reach those who really need it. Of course, through the container as you have done, there is no worry that there might be improper use.

I agree, it's a special joy if the donations that have been distributed can be well received by those in need, it is clear that their own happiness comes from their smiles when they receive the assistance. help will be very meaningful by collecting from all, whether big or small it will be of value.

keep the spirit of friends to continue to always be a path that can provide a meaningful life for those in need.

all forms with the aim of donations and assistance, let alone humanitarian assistance can and it is possible to find alternatives that can actually reach all people, of course, with assistance raised through crypto which is even easier, because its reach is wider and easier.

but the problem that is feared is that if the donations raised are unknown and known and have a reputation that can guarantee that there will be no fraud that will occur, therefore it is very important to involve a body that is already known and acknowledged its existence. all with the aim of making donations right on target and reaching those in need.

nowadays any form of donation can be made with a purpose that looks good but is actually a scam and there are many who are looking for opportunities to enrich themselves.
Therefore, be more selective and trust those whose capacities are already known and recognized.

Bitcoin donations for poor people or people in need are indeed very good, but for other processes such as development, it is not necessary because every country you live in will certainly be covered by every infrastructure by the government. need then a bitcoin donation is very good to do to help people around you who need a helping hand from bitcoin miners

Yes, the bitcoin donation will really help them to improve in their businesses and other things in the community. Some of the Ukraine citizens that got bitcoin donation last month to assist themselves to sustain the hardship the war has caused in their land, came to testify few days ago, how the bitcoin donation helped them to overcome poverty in their country. Many people now prefer bitcoin donation in their events than fiat money because it's very easy to make a huge amount of money from the bitcoin donation than fiat money donation. It's good to donate bitcoin to help others to grow in the community, so that they will have something good to say about bitcoin users in the societies.

and also the Wallet given in Ukraine donation funds is legit and had been used by the whole world towards helping that country .

But about OP's plan about religious  funding? I am not sure if this going to happen lol, and I will also not give any amount because we have all our own beliefs and I'm sure there are many of us had the same stands .

It is nothing but if you decide to make a donation with bitcoin, it is all about the decision you have made for yourself.

And like MK4 has pointed out, this is nothing new at all and it has been done several times even during this Ukraine and Russian war the cryptocurrency community has as well donated Bitcoin to the Ukraine government in support of their military. So, if you choose to start up a Bitcoin donation for the mosque you’re talking about then you can go ahead and do that if you feel it will in any way be of help to them.

Although I have never tried using Bitcoin for donation before, I have always stick to making use of Fiat whenever I want to make a donation for whatever cause.

Are those people that donate blind to not see or compare the address to the original one? OP can post some warnings and other forms of proof that he was the original and people should know it if where will they donate. There is also no risk here because you are are not expecting for any return.

It was not like you are investing for a crypto but you are willingly giving your own crypto the people that needs it the most but first the OP must confirm it via going to the actual place and he should not believe on the pics or on the message that he saw on his screen because anyone can pretend in the internet. We need to be sure that the money will go in the right hands.

Accept or not, in near future all non-profitable or philanthropy organization will have options to accept bitcoin or other cryptos and government will agree with that as donations can be considered beyond regulations and limitations.
I would guess that the idea of "scam" is that if donating with bitcoin becomes a famous thing, then people could see how everyone is throwing coins at donations and could start fake ones. Imagine it like all the next hypes, like when ICO was a thing, there were good ICO projects that got money and built something great and made people money, but then scammers came up and did fake ICO and took money from people, same happened with everything that followed and now done with NFT and META as well.

If donation is the next big thing, then we could have decent places that get decent donations and then we will have fake ones that end up with a big amount.

Not sure if the crypto community in general would be keen to donate to religions though, besides probably some people with the same faith.
It's actually $60 million (but that includes NFTs as well). But lots was raised in Bitcoin specifically, and, judging from the Business Insider article, this money it actually unaccounted for in those $60 million. For example, there's official Ukrainian twitter which posted a Bitcoin address for donations, and it received 388 BTC ($17 million). Then there's Ukrainian most popular foundation to support the army called Come back alive. Their BTC address received $17.6 million worth of BTC (399.56 BTC). Oh, not to mention Binance Ukraine charity and a few others. So the real number is significantly higher, probably a few hundred million in cryptos and NFTs at this point.
As for op, I think opening BTC donation for the mosque makes sense. Simply choosing a Bitcoin address is enough, but following Ukraine's case and, for example, launching NFTs of, say, some images of the mosque and how it'll look after reconstruction might also be a good path. What's important is to have some reputation or to raise via someone who has it. Ukraine raised lots of money because it was a foundation with strong reputation (Come back alive) and because other money was largely raised on the reputation of the state (the country) of Ukraine.

Is there any followup on the fund to see that it is being used to purchase the needs of the victims? Even if the war victims can access the fund they might not be able to buy the daily need and medication if their is no follow up. ~snip~
In recent years, many people have committed fraud, including using donations as an excuse. They didn't even think what he was doing was so cruel. So sometimes people will also doubt about the correctness of the flow of money they give, and I think the members here are like that too. So it's not wrong to ask for bitcoin donations, but there must be a clear flow of how to use it. Maybe a class of official Binance institution with very large users doesn't get much help, what about unofficial institutions? At least make people believe and people will be more sure to give. Explain where the flow of money they give you, because they make money hard .

To my own view, i see donations in bitcoin regardless of project or event it is used for should be encouraged as it help widen the scope of bitcoin acceptability and adoption, but OP should not take this as an advantage in soliciting for help in building a mosque especially on this platform because everyone could create and share every possible means they'd being in need for donation using bitcoin, else the forum turns to a charity platform bugged with all manners of needs for bitcoin donation, trust me people will abuse this opportunity.

In summary, if you are only giving an elightenment on the use of bitcoin donation and scope of coverage its fine, but if your intention is to engage members on donating for the project you're wrong. My advice for you is to gather people withing your reach and start with what you have, there's lots of issues in developing a trust in someone and this might even get you a -tive one on the forum if not careful.

Donating with bitcoin is not new, in fact many countries have accepted donations through bitcoin, eth and other coins, even donations in bitcoin are at most the end of this year, such as the Ukrainian state getting crypto money donations in the form of bitcoin, the Ukrainian government also gave the address wallet for bitcoin and ethereum tokens.

Not only that it isn't new but most of the charities being held nowadays have an option for BTC/cryptocurrency donation.

Since cryptocurrencies have a significant value in cash, there are charities that also ask for such option whenever they ask for donation. Be careful, however, that there are tons of fake charities and wallets being shared around the internet. Since it is very easy to post one's respective wallet ID, you have to be wary on which address you would donate to. That is why, before you donate any proceeds to a charitable cause, make sure that the details are 101% accurate so that your cause will not be lost.

Yeah sure why not, you can try but as others have stated, i doubt that too many people here would be interested outside of those whom share the same faith as you do. I think personally that a lot of “bitcoiners” don’t tend to be very religious, so you might not find too much support here but why not try.

I have hosted several charity auctions here with great success, so it’s worth giving it a shot.
Well, I think it all depends. If people are able to verify that what you’re actually saying is truth then there is the possibility that they will like to donate to it. But, if there isn’t any way at all for them to really prove that what you are talking about is true, then most people are going to have doubt about donating to you because they don’t know if you are being honest with them or not.

Although I don’t think the OP is looking for donation on this forum, I think he’s just saying that he would like to start up a crypto donation and refer his friends who are into cryptocurrency to also make donation to the mosque by using Bitcoin or maybe any other cryptocurrency of their choice.

One of my friends suddenly sent me a picture that showed a Mosque that they wanted to rebuild or infrastructure development,
In which country you live, the state has funds for infrastructure construction of places of worship, roads, school houses and so on, your goals are good, but what you can do better is, make a proposal to the government regarding the picture you mean (the mosque), ask them to look there and make the necessary budget for infrastructure development.

It's not a good idea to create a donation campaign for the mosque, in this forum, no one really believes here the donation is used for the construction of the mosque, My advice is to look for other donation alternatives for your mosque infrastructure, what if all countries come here to make a damaged mosque donation campaign, I think it's really messed up.

Remember the government has the right to build infrastructure for mosques, churches and public facilities, it's the state's obligation.

this  is one of the best reason why we need to support and use crypto specially our very own Bitcoin because of the availability to be used as donation in all part of the world for all our plans, as long as there is trust and there is legitimacy? we can keep sending donations to everywhere without government interference .

Bitcoin or crypto donations will become more popular when the war in Ukraine shows its effect. The point here is that we donate to Ukraine through the call of the government or a reputable organization. But if an individual does it as you do, it's very difficult to do because no one can guarantee that the money will actually go where it needs to be. So it's hard to get a positive response from everyone, the best way you should go through a reputable charity to implement this idea.

In short, we need tangible proof that the donation will really go to where it should be. Because personal endorsement is sometimes ignored especially if there is no site or any link discussing about the project. This is why official channels are highly favored when it comes to donations. It is not a bad idea to raise funds for specific purpose, but you need to convince people that you will really use it to such project by providing actual details.

It is an excellent idea OP and it could work more strongly if the donations happen locally because then the community will be aware of the project itself first hand. It would also be an example to follow for future projects, more uses of bitcoin in communities is adoption.
Last but not least, people will learn that with bitcoin they can find solutions in many areas, they just need to try.

You can definitely open a bitcoin donation campaign and I believe it will definitely help, but do you think it will be safe, don't you think scammers might endup hijacking the campaign, what if scammer use thesame pattern with your own post and endup changing the wallet address, people will definitely send coins to the wallet address and they might be thinking is the legitimate wallet address, they won't know the wallet belongs to a scammer that's why I believe it's kind of risky.

Many who are religious fanatics will want to donate as well. I won't stand to discourage you from seeking more donations with crypto. But crypto donation is no longer a new scheme in the charity industry. Ukrainians are good example of massive Bitcoin donations. Many might also buy the idea as it will serve a comfortable worship arena

1,683 BTC
≈72,225,543 USD
Amount raised

4,666
Total donations

2,633,376
Total end Beneficiaries

When it comes to something like this then donations with bitcoin or other crypto had been here for a while already.
Everything could be possible but of course it does really require or need up some trust.

in planning to hold alms is a very good thing, for example if our intention is really used to donate, be it for a mosque or other natural disaster, you and maybe some of your friends can try it, for example if you want. to donate in bitcoin or any other altcoin, but I suggest you really mean it, and never have any intention to act on behalf of temporary donation for example getting funds, then you think you can get mutual benefit, not because I think bad or accuse , I'm just reminding.

It has already become way way old to donate with the bitcoins. Last couple of years there have been donations in bitcoin for the health care issues, tornadoes around western hemisphere and most recently the ukraine.

If you were here on the forum through the covid situation then there was donation from the Forum members itself to various fellow bitcointalk members who took the initiative of donating food and health services by using the donation money.

Everyone liked that idea and they were enjoying the same while donating as it was for some good cause. However, I am way skeptical if this will work for the religious purpose or not. With the crypto users the mindset is way advance and they might be into something like modern world. Not sure if you will be able to ask it successfully.

I would suggest that the place that is trying to get the donations should open it up, and not you. In your message you said "Why don't I open a Bitcoin donation campaign to reach more people?" and that means you are planning on starting one yourself, getting the money and everyone should trust that you will give those donations to the mosque or in any case whatever is the donation reason.

If the place that is getting the donations opens one up then I would support it, not this one directly but if I were to donate somewhere one day, I would not donate to third parties, I will donate directly. Like would you give me money so that I could send donations to Ukraine? Or would you donate to Ukraine directly? That's what's going on right now.

Donating bitcoin is not new anymore, as you heard in the news regarding with the crisis on Ukraine many people donated bitcoin to support the government in such crisis on going. They bought military equipment with that donated crypto assets which was the best option available. With bitcoin we can seamlessly send bitcoin any part of the world, that's what makes it amazing.

It's just Bitcoin seems to be the a unique way to do it which makes a person think about using that option to donate. Some do it for the purpose of boasting, to be cool, to have something to talk about with friends. "Hey, I just donated using the Bitcoin technology." Sounds pretty. Very futuristic.
But at the end of the day, it's the thought that counts and not the amount or whatever currency you used to offer help to those who are in need.
Well, thanks for the reminder.

One of my friends suddenly sent me a picture that showed a Mosque that they wanted to rebuild or infrastructure development, whether I want to participate in the donation or help them reach more people to get a donation. I see the details and have a conversation with that friend about their plans. I contact some of my other friends and cousins about the matter. Many of them are agreed to respond.

Why don't I open a Bitcoin donation campaign to reach more people? I know many peoples who work in the crypto industry. They also can donate here.
This thread never suggests you donate here or somewhere else with your cryptos. I want to remind you how we can implement Bitcoin or other Altcoins in our daily life. We can use the crypto industry in every possible way in our life. It'll open new doors of opportunities.
there are lots of things happened in the past about donation process from crypto most specially bitcoin ,and the latest is that Ukraine Run a donation in which even gambling sites in crypto and even the world and this forum cooperate , I myself provide a little amount that i can afford just to show my response from that calling.
and you and friends/family that partake in that Mosque project really made a good deeds, hope you will continue doing such for many chances.

Billions of people have smartphones, but do not have access to basic financial services, and bitcoin or crypto donations achieve this because they eliminate intermediary financial institutions and are completed instantly.
Taking donations with bitcoin is very easy, fast, secure and transparent and also has many advantages over accepting traditional donations, and anyone can open a bitcoin wallet and you don't need an ID, or bank account to access it.
and bitcoin donations will help with international issues and will get donations from everyone out there, just like disasters and wars too. However, if for certain beliefs or purposes it is more appropriate to ask for voluntary donations from local crypto parties or communities.
with data and snippets to show, I've done this before but only asked for donations with those involved with crypto or bitcoin. and also there is nothing wrong with you trying here and whatever the answer is, you have to accept it and you also do not show valid evidence.

Donating through cryptocurrency is a great way to help anonymously. Also, it's very simple and easy for organizations to receive donations through cryptocurrency worldwide. But the problem is a lot of scammers misuse that opportunity. But yes, verified organizations could raise donations easily if donators believe that is real. Otherwise, it's hard to collect cryptocurrency. So think a legit way how you may prove this donation goes to a legal party. Otherwise, you won't succeed much. Also, you need to be trusted here and always need to update the situation if you wonder to collect funds from the forum.

I think donation with Bitcoin is the best way to donate, really. That way you can follow where the Bitcoin goes. You can track the entire blockchain and the path your donation takes. I am sure there are many good and trustworthy donation projects, however, as history has shown, there is absolutely no use in trusting humans. No matter how good the cause, there will always be people who want to take advantage of the money.

With blockchain there is no need for trust. We verify.
True. Bitcoin is the perfect currency to make donations, as the receiver will never be able to lie or hide where the funds really went.

I've seen donations campaigns lacking this transparency factor before in my area. People leading such campaigns use to think they should reveal details and informations about the campaign's funds only to those they want, instead of doing this publicly.

Bitcoin solves this issue. However, once the money from donations is converted back to fiat in order to be used, we lose the trail of the funds again... So it's really disappointing in the end.

To prevent that, donations in btc should be used also as currency in btc.

~snipped~
we may discover that persons that carried such mentality where either illiterate or had no fore knowledge about bitcoin.
I wouldn't know about the second part but I know for certain those who advanced that line of argument were not illiterate. In their argument they advanced that Bitcoin was money and since it appreciated and rose in price that it's like interest paid on cash kept in the bank and they frowned at it. They maintained that interest shouldn't be paid on cash kept in the bank. I think they called it Islamic or Sharia banking or so, where interest aren't paid. It's a long time but it was an interesting read then for me because I saw different shades of arguments. It's nice to see everyone now getting on the move and embracing Bitcoin.

Well, let's hope a few people misinterpreted it and everything is back to factory setting now.

Has all that changed now?
Rules never change. Many peoples use cryptocurrency as an investment. However, my knowledge about this part is short.
You should know the limit when you wanted to help someone and not harm yourself.
I just planned it, I'll talk about this section with other people who have better knowledge about this discussion better than me. I just wanna show an example of how we can implement crypto transactions in our daily life also thanks for your advice.

Finding a beautiful and noble reason to ask forum users for a donation.
Bitcoin has been accepted for donations for a long time, and anyone who wants to be kind always knows where to put their money.
I never asked a donations from forum users or show any reason for giving donations. I just showed a small example of how we can use digital transections in our daily life. [Honourable mention: isn't that a good meme? I like that template]

1 - about the first question: you are anonymous, everyone on this forum is anonymous or at least most people on this forum are anonymous which means that few people would trust you and your story. That's why the best option would be for you to look for donors in your country, even if it's for bitcoin I believe that in your country there must be people who use bitcoin and may be willing to donate

2 - be careful when you ask for a donation to these people from the cryptocurrency industry, as they may not be people who believe in your story, as I said before, the best thing would be for you to look for people from your country

Thanks, man for suggesting good ways. I'll remind these terms before asking for any donations and also I don't ask for any donation or related thing in the forum. It is just an example.

Relevant, isn't it, OP? Grin Grin
Finding a beautiful and noble reason to ask forum users for a donation.
Every person sees himself as right and wants to be good. Where else can you donate? There are a lot of reasons for sick children, the construction of churches and mosques, of course, wars.
But, OP, that's an old idea. Bitcoin has been accepted for donations for a long time, and anyone who wants to be kind always knows where to put their money.

Now it's about trust, if you open a donation campaign, then I don't trust it except for official institutions and also some well-known foundations there, I know that donations are humanity that must be helped through anything including bitcoin and cryptocurrency but here I question trust in the donation that was made.

If the issue of Ukrainian donations is different, we have seen clearly how Ukraine needs it because their country is destroyed in every city, while the government itself makes donations through cryptocurrency, many people believe and donate.

I thought Muslims were against the idea of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies as they called them ponzi and all sorts of derogatory names. It was a heated argument in 2017/2018 when I newly joined this forum. I couldn't understand what the noise was all about then as some people opined that Muslims were against any project that paid interest, the same way they don't encourage interest banking. Has all that changed now?

While your initiative are good, but never ever using Bitcoin to donate for a Mosque and even worst you're live on where Bitcoin is banned on your country. I'm not discriminating, but most of Moslem consider Bitcoin is haram/forbidden. If anyone know the sources to rebuild the Mosque, they wouldn't want to use that Mosque because it's from forbidden sources. You might got jailed after doing this.

In my particular case, I don't donate with Bitcoin, I prefer to use fiat, because I am in accumulation phase and I prefer to spend the minimum bitcoin, especially when the market is bullish, not now. Although there are many people who donate with Bitcoin but I guess they have enough Bitcoin accumulated already, or they receive most of their income in Bitcoin, so it doesn't hurt them to spend it.

Why don't I open a Bitcoin donation campaign to reach more people? I know many peoples who work in the crypto industry. They also can donate here.

But you would receive donations only in Bitcoin? I wouldn't close the door and accept fiat as well, unless you want to do without reporting to the authorities or something, think there are many people who either don't have Bitcoin or have Bitcoin and fiat and prefer to spend fiat, like me.

In any case, in order to donate, I have to be very sure that the project is legit. If I have the slightest doubt, I don't donate. So I suggest that if you carry out the idea, develop it well and be as transparent as possible.

I think crypto donating has made a big step forward with the ongoing war in Ukraine as official donations have been supported by the government. So it seems it has taken a big leap forward and people could be inclined to donate through crypto much more than before.
The war of Ukraine and Russia have made government to know that bitcoin is very important to the society through the donation of Ukraine, far distance donation for supportive measure, so every donations made with bitcoin was very fast, so if i were world bank i would have rise the motion of bitcoin been adopted but always remain independent and decentralized because of speed of it's transaction.

Happy to see you understand one other good point of bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies but donating with bitcoin is not new and there were many people donating a huge amount of money through bitcoin anonymously because they don't want to reveal their names to other people, there are also some foundations they based on donating with cryptocurrencies some of them are managed but anonymous people, I guess if the person gets some bitcoin for donating he does also have the chance to invest the bitcoin and get more from the donation he gets.

Feel free. Donating is something that's done willingly anyway, so tbf, even if you do open up an address for donations, if people aren't given enough ways to trust that said donation would go to whatever you're saying it would go then no one would really donate. Maybe you can use it for local people in your area or your social circle, but outside of that, you're probably gonna need to provide more proof. Though before all that, people need to be willing to do so in the first place.

The problem is trust. You are a random anonymous person on the internet that we can not easily trust.
However if the donation was directly given to some place official, then it would be a different story. For example an organization that does this kind of work (eg. reconstruction) and has a license to work and is working under some kind of supervision.

This is one thing I love the Muslims for, they are cheerful givers, when they start a project they simply ensure it gets to the last point.
The news of Bitcoin donations to Ukraine has gone widespread... They should be the first country to receive such.
Just as Mk4 has said, they're not new, asides the recent donations of Bitcoin to Ukraine, there are other nonprofit firms that accepts Bitcoin donations such as;

A Just Harvest, A Leg to stand on etc.

Donating through bitcoin/crypto isn't new — I mean, we literally had a $10m+ donation to the Ukrainian government/charities.

Not sure if the crypto community in general would be keen to donate to religions though, besides probably some people with the same faith.
