Heard this on the news a few days ago, there are some donations going to Ukraine and Ukrainian people through Airbnb from all over the world these days, Airbnb provides services to take rooms for rent all over the world, and using this service, some people rent rooms from airbnb in ukrine while there is war in ukrine and none would visit the room he got and paid for it, so basically they are donating the host using airbnb, however, I expect to see Airbnb helping people by not taking any fee and providing better payment options for the visitors to make this donation process easier.

Such acts of kindness may seem simple to the ones doing it but for the ones on the recieving end of the help, it is already a lot. It is so heart warming to see such actions fr different parts of the world. Just goes to show that there is still hope for humanity and that no matter how times change, there will always be selfless love in the world. I hope that this love and compassion would also be able to reach the hearts of Putin and other leaders that are involved in the war so that they would find ways to have a better compromise that would end the suffering of the people affected by the war.

I know I've seen people on social media claim to have done it but I think it's better to give to organised humanitarian attempts still as they'll likely be able to demand more efficient prices for necessities their citizens need.

The Ukrainian government has publicly disclosed crypto addresses for donations, I have seen some other organizations that are also working on collecting donations. but in the current state of emergency, how much do these donations really help ordinary people?
a couple of days ago I saw a great action on Airbnb where people are paying for rentals in Ukraina although they do not plan to come and stay. it is just a form of financial aid to residents.
I must say that is a wonderful idea of how to help ordinary people directly.
Also, platform Airbnb, waived their usual fee, so the hosts get the full amount. The Guardian wrote about

I also saw that they planned to implement cryptocurrency payments this (2022) year, maybe this brings them closer to that realization.
