iam not doing exploit test on electrum, obviously, but sorry if that was not clear, its on a site of a friend,
i had some problems in receive the payment in electrum, but already fixed

I'm glad you fixed your issue, but for future reference and for any other newbies who see this thread; be skeptical of anyone who contacts you privately claiming to want to help.  As you can see from this thread and many others in this board there are plenty of helpful members who'll do their best to assist you for free, and will do so in public.

Assume anyone who offers help in private, and especially via Telegram, is a scammer.  In fact, Telegram is the worst.  Many scammers will use it to impersonate established, trusted members of of the forum to disarm an unsuspecting victim.

I think the only people who need exploit test on Electrum wallet are either developer/contirbutor, auditor or thief/hacker.

On main topic, keyword "disconnect" usually means :
1. You're using outdated wallet, which don't allow proper connection to Electrum server. Update to newest version would solve the problem.
2. You're using unstable internet connection. Use different connection could solve the problem
3. You're using hardware wallet. Changing USB cable, connect to different port or use different computer should fix the problem.

Warning: Electrum versions older than 3.3.4 are susceptible to phishing. Do not download Electrum from another source than electrum.org, and learn to verify GPG signatures.

The latest version is 3.3.8 as of this writing.

What did you mean by "an exploit test"? Did you mean "take advantage of electrum vulnerabilities"? Did you download the wallet from the official website or someone sent you a link to download?
I checked your posts[1], it seems either you don't know anything about crypto or a scammer trying to look like someone who doesn't know anything.

Be very careful who you are contacting with because there are a number of scammers here trying to "help you" while stealing your coins.

It is dangerous for the OP and for anyone who contact him after his "payment". The OP can be a scammer as well.

Those kind of help should always happen in public discussions, as it is safer and the discussion may also help other users who are experiencing the same problem.

You probably just have to update to the latest version from electrum.org/#download. Old electrum was taken offline due to a phishing attack.

If his computer has the btc on it, why isn't he trying to send it (potentially a stupid question but)?

Just describe your problem here in details. What version you're using, what's your OS, did you use VPN etc. Most of the time Electrum fails to connect because of connectivity issue.

No need to pay somebody to fix that, in fact, you might be able to find the answer just by searching "electrum [error message]" in this forum.

There are many helpful people as well, so establish member (hero or legendary rank) with green, positive trust are will likely not risk their reputation. I suggest contacting LoyceV, he is one of the most reliable members around here.
