Actually, avoiding the scam of a fake transaction MO is easy because whether transactions are valid or not we can see them on the blockchain. Normally, scammers are using photoshopped screenshot or other dodgy wallet applications, therefore verification for everything needs to be conducted. I do agree that FOMO is a great tool for fraudsters, and an uncontrollable rush into investments without thinking is very dangerous. Of course research helps, but even then, experienced users get fooled. Better stick to well known platforms, double check the addresses, and don't take random offers.

Wow someone sending your money by giving you a fake transaction ID? I guess a confidence based scam can work in that manner, but there is no end to the number of lies these scammers can put together to create a scam.

So I guess it works like you send the money to the scammer and the scammer show you a fake transaction ID - guess the basic fact that the victim never had any wallet is the first red flag. Teach them that to view the balance we need some sort of a wallet and trades should be done on exchanges and not to random strangers on the internet.
Sending fake transaction IDs or transaction alerts os one method that is very popular among Bitcoin p2p market users, and also some POS terminals and individuals are the targets of the scammers, most people already know about that IDs or transactions alert scams.

Just we wake up to update put anti viruses each day, same we should update our scammer detection search every day since scammers will never give up and are in a constant attempt to get your attention and your money with new formulas so we need to keep upgrading our security also.

nowadays scammers are increasingly innovative in deceiving their victims, some through phishing, ponzi schemes, and many other ways. as crypto users, we are expected to always be aware of these scammers by always using a secure wallet and never sharing private keys with anyone, then never being tempted by any offers, never clicking on links carelessly, and using secure devices. always be aware of yourself because there are so many bastar** looking for the assets you have.

I have heard a lot of complains on how people get scammed and losing their crypto assets, any one who holds BTC is like a friend and a brother/sister to me . i feel so hurt when ever i hear that my brother/sister has been scammed of crypto , especially if its my favorite bitcoin. i got a crush on BTC Wink. we all need to avoid this scammers because they are still out there searching for victims. we should all know that this Crypto scammers love to create a sense of urgency or FOMO (fear of missing out). They may pressure you to invest immediately without giving you time to conduct proper research. we have to be careful and make proper research before making investment. some scammers even go further to send fake BTC. To know if your received BTC is real or fake, Check the transaction hash on the blockchain, if it doesn't exist then it's fake. Make sure the inputs, outputs, and fees are in line with what you'd expect. you can also make blockchain verifications by Using explorers to validate the transaction details Kiss   If you have read this post, stay safe and keep BTC safe, and most importantly " I LOVE YOU" Wink :
Op you're actually right because one sector of the economy that is emerging in our present time is the crypto currency sector owing to the fact that it is one area that has a lot of prospects and growth rates over a given period of time especially Bitcoin so everyone is looking for a way to benefits that Bitcoin offers but of recent times the greatest problem that the crypto community has been experiencing is scam relating crypto currency related activities infact there is no country that has accepted crypto currency that has not experienced a scam related case scam in crypto currency that even if your trying to create awareness about crypto currency online you will be seen as a scammer

But I think this problem is on the rise because of ignorance on the part of people who don't have sufficient information about crypto currency especially Bitcoin before venturing into it so these scammers will leverage on their ignorance and prey on them and make away with their money
