I think, this is the right place to talk about my experience. here's my story in some of the exchange that I'm currently using, I have some minor issues with my withdrawals. to be honest, It's my fault that I didn't have much patience to wait for the reply of their technical support.
I went to the public chatbox and shout my problem with a hundred of people reading it. after that, I receive one message that saying I need to mail so and so, which I did asap. He almost mimics the exchange's email address so that his victim will not be aware of anything strange. after I sent him an email and I got some replies from saying that saying:
Hello!
We checked your account. There is a technical issue with it. Some wallets have old chains and wrong configuration. Moreover XRP wallet has an old version and does not support correct transactions. I talked to our tech. team and they have found a solution to fix it.
Please don't try to withdraw/deposit coins to/from your account to avoid new stuck transactions. To resolve the issue please follow my instructions.
We will have to upgrade your account. Then you will get your XRP transaction processed and will never face with any issues in the future.
The only problem is to move your balances safely from your old wallets to new versions.
To avoid losses of balances please follow my instructions:
1. In your existing Yobit account please click on your user name in the top right corner and select Yobit codes.
2. Then select each coin with a positive balance. Enter the full balance. Click Create New Code. You will need to confirm it via email.
3. After you confirm the code don't activate it. It will appear on your page as "YOBIT****". Copy and send it to me.
You need to repeat it for all coins with a positive balance on your account.
We will move your balances safely from the old version to the new one and your transactions will be processed.
Sincerely,
Ultramod
Yobit Team
Base on his message he wants me to give him my code so he will be able to get all of my balance. I didn't send him anything because I know this kind of stuff is obviously a scam. I just post it here to give you a clue on what is the Op is saying.
when he didn't get any replies from me, he emails me again:
If you are ready let me help you to fix your problem.
As you can see ths gus is so desperate to steal people's money. so don't fall to this kind of stuff.
