Of course it can't
First of all, the architecture of the blockchain is different
Cardano uses POS while Bitcoin uses POW

Furthermore, Bitcoin is like the pioneer tech of Crypto
In terms of Scale-ability, I believe Cardano could perform better but it won't replace BTC imo

All altcoin include Cardano very difficult to replace Bitcoin because mass adoption of Bitcoin keep strong, Bitcoin will keep become the number cryptocurrency for next acouple years because the community will make BTC greater by solve scalability issue. Cardano has potential to be top 10 crypto again  later according to the development of the project by team developer.
Bitcoin has no comparison rival at this time. All coins that are present at this time are highly dependent on BTC. When it comes to Blockchain they often refer to BTC and few people mention Cardano because actually Cardano is just a normal currency and it can only be compared with ETH or XRP. These are competitors that need to be overcome before they can compare with BTC

A lot of people get worried unnecessarily which is wrong
Even cardano developers aren’t his worried.

Investors care more about profit and profit alone, so irrespective of shitcoin or good coin reviews
As long as it fetched profit

No problem

You've been warned.

Lets get everyone's thoughts on Cardano, I feel like a lot of y'all are sleeping on this. Do you think it can replace Bitcoin?
Cardano really is not a good and reliable business. Although it reached the top 10 of crypto, it will still not be as good as XRP.
XRP is really a huge altcoin and it's better for you to invest in it instead of investing in Cardano.
The risk will be quite high and it will depend on you. But I recommend that you choose XRP, it is a real business and has many investment funds.

Come on, it can't even get close to marketcap of bitcoin Wink There are more alternatives that can compete with ADA but talking about big dreams is not acceptable especially against dominant crypto.
Agreed, it isn't achievable competing against bitcoin as the top altcoins. The thread was created years ago from that till now it hasn't moved much above or below. It shows marginal growth, no doubt in its platform. It is truly a good platform and has got potential to grow high but could not replace bitcoin.

It is funny why people in the space compare any project directly with Bitcoin, Cardano is not in direct competition with BTC, it is in a smart contract market and it is in direct competition with  the likes of Ethereum and Rootstock. What I see about Cardano is that too much noise so far and nothing significant to show for its hype, waiting for the next upgrade to see what will happen

Grin Bitcoin today we have nothing to replace. In addition to other technology that will be 2 heads taller. Then it will be a cryptocurrency 2. And now all the ostolnye projects are just stages of development, before the second bitcoin.

Cardano is really quality project but it is a unique project like all other projects and i think we should stop this comparing games and move on i do not think anything can be same as btc or eth each coin is different and has its own community and volume.

Cardano is not a competitor for Bitcoin but for Ethereum.
I have a buy order but 0.04USD is a high price, ICO price was 0.00240USD.

Cardano is not a promising project as it has no innovations. In its idea, this coin is just a means of speculation. And bitcoin is a reputable coin that has a multi-billion dollar daily turnover.

To me,The more days more cryptocurrency coins are born, the existence of Cardano will be threatened. but I believe Cardano remains a trusted coin by people and will rise again. We'll see if Cardano will still exist and become a favorite investment coin by people.

Cardano is still in its developing phase and has quite a community. I too am a close follower of its update but I don't intend to jump on it yet considering it's cap and time it may require to deliver.

Cardano is probably going to be another shitcoin which isn't going to have any kind of real value in a few weeks time. I would have more confidence in Ripple since that is at least used for something that has support from fiat sources. Cardano looks like it's trying to be Ethereum 2.0 and I'm going to answer your question the same way that I answered everyone else when they were all asking if Ethereum was going to replace Bitcoin: No.

I'm going to go back to sleeping on ADA and looking at XRP.

Wow, and here I was thinking Crypto was here to destroy the banks and not join them. SMH. Saying that Cardano is trying to be Ethereum 2.0 shows that you haven't even watched any of their whiteboard videos, and what it is they're trying to achieve. Keep sleeping

But do we get to warn you when it turns out not to do or be the thing you promised? I guess not because there is zero way it will replace Bitcoin. I think Bitcoin has more or less cemented its place in the community and I don't think any coin with overthrown it despite how good the coin is. If a coin is going to overthrow Bitcoin though it will be a lengthy process and certainly won't be in the next 5 years.
