Going by the reviews on Trustpilot. It looks like they have been scamming people from 2020 - https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.citex.co.kr
They may have been good at first but they probably decided to scam later on.

Yeah, some exchange simply degrade through time so even if they may be ok years ago, they might be a complete scam now. I mean, just look at the ARRR coin and its price and volume on Citex at the bottom. It's so dodgy that even that shitty CMC decided to exclude it.
What I think is happening is that since the so called ARRR wallet is under maintenance. People can not withdraw the token, so what's happening is that they are selling it off for USDT or BTC which they could be able to withdraw thus dumping the token price as compared to other exchanges.

Ah, that means you have caught by their trap. when you someone offering something with huge difference from the reality you have to determine that there is something wrong there. In this case you must have to do some research before taking action there. Maybe you did not do a little research before making the deposit due to your greediness.
I think that you misunderstood @menoiazei as  its actually the opposite, price on other exchanges is much higher than on Citex, so they are obviously not using that to lure the people. Take a look at the image in my previous post in this thread and you will see that for some reason ARRR has been traded for like 5% of the price that is on the other exchanges. Who knows what's going on there...

I just tried to access Citex to see what's actually going on there, but it turns out that  it has been tagged by Mozilla, giving you that warning message.  That says much about the Citex.

exactly!

and yes stay away from CITEX, reason for randomly choosing their shit service was because they where one of the few that had the pirate chain coin, of course i tottaly dont recommend them At ALL
the place i end up buying ARRR from was tradeorge and quite happy with them!

their price for ARRR is 0.7220 $

Take it as a lesion and don't do such mistake in future to stay safe your money.

Exactly that! And now I research more on them(something I should of done before using their service) I see many people complaint
Don't know why they still in business
Lesson from this never use Citex service ever again
Yep, lesson learned. And people usually don't care much about this stuff until they get screwed. That's just how it goes.

I've used this exchange during early times. So far didn't have any trouble with them, or maybe they are still on fresh league during that time cause the exchange and transactions I've did are all smooth including deposits and withdrawals. But of course time flies and surely there are changes and probably some degrade of their process or system, from support to operators. Who knows if this is a trick or simply way to scam people but exchange  often exhibit some suspicious activity when they are tend to go down soon. But I'm not saying they are close to closure or what. Just an observation.

ARRR is under maintenance. After the maintenance is completed, an announcement will be issued as soon as possible.
06:10:03
are you bot or just a human without a heart?
我是客服Cici 06:16:36
Hello! The wallet is under maintenance. Please refer to the announcement time for the opening time; you can just follow the latest announcement. The open deposit and withdrawal announcements are issued at the first time!
The small customer service side is also waiting for the above notification, the time is really not clear!

Is very bad exchange and very bad service, reason I used them is because they where one of the few exchanges that listed the ARRR blockchain, also what I notice is that their prices are very different from reality
at the moment price for ARRR is at 2.46$ on CoinMarketCap
their price for ARRR is 0.7220 $

that don't really make sense
thieves
Yeah that's how they usually attract new users, by listing some shitcoin that can't be anywhere else so in order to sell those tokens you have to use them, and more often than not that ends up badly like in your case. I guess it was just your bad luck to choose Citex out of few other exchanges that have ARRR listed..

First, sorry to hear about the issues you have with Citex in regard to withdrawing your funds. I must say that I never heard before about that one.

I just did some Googling about the exchange, and their rating sucks even on Trustpilot, the platform that is known by bunch of fake positive reviews so when you see so many people labeling it as a scam exchange then you really not that is a bad one. So yeah, I wish you good luck with your effort, but it seems that their behavior towards you it's more like a rule than exception.

I haven't used this exchange, just for the record is this the exchange that you are talking about?

https://www.citex.co.kr

It's a Korean exchange, one thing I noticed though is that the two coins that having trouble withdrawing is privacy coins right? I might be wrong, but Korean exchanges are some of the first to de-list privacy coins such as Monero because of strict crypto regulations in that country. I'm not saying that this is the reason why you can't withdraw it though. The only one that can answer your questions is that exchange alone.

Yes this is the exchange I am talking about, They don't really give answer other than check the announcements  when I try to contact them,,

Would like to know if more people here are having troubles with withdrawals at CITEX exchange?

Trying to withdraw ARRR and XHV from them and their wallets are not functional for weeks now

when I contact their support they don't really support anything and only thing they reply is check for announcements and this been happening on repetitive emails for weeks now...

Also at a telegram group I was reading that they do this on a regular basis and people taking legal action against them

Curious if other people having troubles with them
