You know, Bitcoin isn't the perfect solution to everything. Not even to money. It's the best alternative we've got, in my opinion, and the opinion of many I guess, but the day will come -- it should -- when a new technology will be available that will be superior to the Bitcoin solution.

Will this new thing displace Bitcoin? Or just supplant it? Maybe complement it? We can't know for sure. The nature of technology and progress is to improve.
Improvement is inevitable so we cant really give out precise things that might happen on future years. For op positiveness towards bitcoin i cant really

blame him up but coming to a point on thinking way beyond on where it do exist before fiat,i cant see for it to be fitted for that sole purpose.
This is why Fiat money will always been preferred even some do really hate such system but people will always choose this over any other things.

At the moment, we cannot live without cash.
In the past, silver and gold coins were printed, and the need for more money was increased.
After 1971, the world needed a lot of money, so money was built on promises, not assets.
Paper money begins on the same concept (backed by gold,) but more can be created as an infinite number of central coins are printed.
The essence of the issue is decentralization, not limited supply.

Unlimited supply can't buy the limited supply that is where you are wrong to begin with Cool.

You can try to buy as many bitcoins as you want but eventually you will face with people who will not sell bitcoin for even a billion dollars each because they believe in the technology and ideology of bitcoin, you can get maybe 15+ million of all bitcoins but then you will run out of money and if you print more than the inflation will make sure bitcoin worth more as well and you will never be able to buy all of it.

However, even if they try the best case scenario here is that we still have other altcoins we can shift our focus in and if they want to do this to all coins ever then they would have to give power of fiat currency over to people who currently hold crypto which would work amazingly for us.

Crypto Currencies are the future and as we can see many Banking Institutions and also Some Government making their move to at least have their control over Crypto Currency.
Governments have always tried to exercise control over things they consider a potential threat. Just because they consider it a potential threat it still doesn't mean crypto currencies are the future.

Let's be honest here, Bitcoin exists for almost a whole decade and the primary use case it had back in the days it no longer has today, which is to be an internet currency for quick and cheap payments. That's definitely not progress.

Yes, the price has gone up a lot, but that's about the only form of growth we can agree on that Bitcoin had and will continue to have. I'm just being realistic here. I'm a long term Bitcoin bull, but I'm not a delusional moon boy.

Fiat money was inevitable, sort of

So, to put it succinctly, we couldn't but have come eventually to the idea of fiat money and its implementation in practice. Before fiat, we were on the gold standard which pretty much resembled Bitcoin due to gold's limited supply (if that was your point). So even if we hypothetically assumed that we had been on Bitcoin before fiat came about, we would still have switched from the former to the latter at some point in time. Fiat was a necessity and a giant step forward in terms of money evolution. I know this is kinda unorthodox here but it doesn't make it less true (if we cut all the hype and remove all the noise)

Bitcoin will not existed and all other crypto currencies as well, will not existed if fiat is not existed first. The current system of currency is the problem, it's security, the central bank that manages how will the currency work, as per Satoshi [1]"The root problem with conventional currency is all the trust that's required to make it work. The central bank must be trusted not to debase the currency, but the history of fiat currencies is full of breaches of that trust. Banks must be trusted to hold our money and transfer it electronically, but they lend it out in waves of credit bubbles with barely a fraction in reserve. We have to trust them with our privacy, trust them not to let identity thieves drain our accounts. Their massive overhead costs make micropayments impossible."

Crypto Currencies are the future and as we can see many Banking Institutions and also Some Government making their move to at least have their control over Crypto Currency.

Like what is the point of having a limited supply, when a unlimited supply can just buy it all no matter the price...  Roll Eyes

Think about duration coins (it is not made yet) where everyone creates the supply fairly through time, K thanks.

So we can stop being $laves living in a $hit $cam $ystem.

Think about the future of our kind, they are going to think we are all dumb fucks.
Agreed, the unlimited supply can easily eat away the limited supply in no time. Here what I believe is the distribution of value to the smallest denomination of the limited supply. So this won't cause the entire supply to be eaten by the unlimited supply of fiat. If bitcoin is supplied unlimited there could've never been this growth and to the unlimited supply now the value has reached high for its smallest denomination. If bitcoin was at the same value as the day it came to usage then what you've mentioned is correct.

Humanity simply could not start with cryptocurrency, and only then come to ordinary paper money. For the emergence of cryptocurrency, a certain development of science and technology, the Internet, is needed. Therefore, only such a development of events in chronology is possible. In addition, cryptocurrency has only existed for ten years. She has yet to pass the test of time for strength. They say that on Earth we are already somewhere in the eighth civilization. However, none of them left a mention of cryptocurrency. But even 12,000 years ago, spaceships called vimana launched from the territory of present-day India and battles were fought in near-earth orbit, and traces of the use of nuclear weapons were discovered in ancient times.
