Quite pricey for 200$. Especially when there are aluminum frames that work just as well if not better that can hold more for a cheaper cost...

Not trying to knock it I just don't think this thing should be geared towards Cryptocurrency. I show off my gaming computer tower more than any of my bitcoin rigs. I could care less what my rigs look like no one is coming over to ogle at them, lol.

I just feel like this is a project jumping on the bitcoin accessory bandwagon. Trying to go for style when that is the last thing that should be on any miners mind.

I have to say I'm jealous and feel like small potatoes now ... I've been building cases for friends and have seriously been considering announcing on the forums to sell a few. Maybe 5 to start, then ramp up from there, maybe a submission to kickstarter or indiegogo like Red Harbinger did, but after seeing this it just solidifies my fear that all it takes is someone who's pro job it is to make cases or do industrial design and ... I'm finished. Although being a small time case maker in the US does have it's advantages -- I can ship fast and cheap.

I will admit to seeing the Red Harbinger site and being inspired to grab SolidWorks and KeyShot for future case designs and renders. I'm a big fan of SketchUp but that's hobby shop stuff compared to what a pro can do in SolidWorks.

I think they may be misleading a tiny bit as well. I'm going to guess that a prototype DOPAmine has not been built yet. What you see on their site are renderings from KeyShot; very, very nice renderings and an awesome inspiration for design. But not the real deal. I'm WAY out of my lane here, but a finished product of that quality would need a few tooling go-rounds by the manufacturer till you saw one in real life. I'm still blown away by how awesome that case is and hope they get their Indiegogo done and everything built by April, but I'll keep plugging for the little guy who wants a 6-gpu case below $100.

Hard to beat cheap aluminum racks.. 250 for some shiny box? No thanks.. lets see how it performs in real world otherwise its just eyecandy design..

nice case but price is way too high. my $5 plastic crate with zipties does the job just as good, besides it only fits 2 power supply that's 3 cards per 1 psu which is cutting very close even for a 1200W gold+

Definitely has a very cool look and modular design.  At $250 though, seems a bit pricey just to buy a fancy case.

Will it ROI?
