Lately, I've been doing some throughout research on Dorado ICO and found out that most of its members are known for exploiting various food chain businesses in Lithuania, also for tax evasion, rebrandings of various already-known-as-terrible businesses like "Cili Pica", "Cili Kaimas", etc., which belong to FoodoutGroup, which controls Foodout and other larger Food chains in Lithuania.
Since Dorado ICO is public, let's talk about one of its important members - CEO Jonas Karosas.
- one of the older articles I found in the media was this (wow):
https://www.15min.lt/vardai/naujiena/lietuva/verslininko-tado-karoso-sunus-jonas-sumuse-patrulio-algirdo-radzeviciaus-zmona-milisandra-1050-293915Apparently, in 2013, he assaulted some guy's wife and called her out in some amazingly "bad words". Translate the article above to EN and you'll see.
- Karosas also is one of the larger shareholds in PiguGroup. Recently, Dorado ICO has announced a partnership with Pigu Group. Oh yeah, that's a huge surprise...
https://www.dorado.tech/dorado-partners-pigu-group%E2%80%8A-%E2%80%8Aleading-cee-northern-european-e-commerce-retailer/I currently reside in CZ (for a little while), but I've got some connections in Lithuania and one of them mentioned that:
- all Foodout Facebook pages (
https://www.facebook.com/foodout.lt/ &
https://www.facebook.com/foodout.lv) have disabled the reviews on their pages due to low ratings and inability to improve their delivery times
- also, on their Google page (where you can't disable the community reviews
), the rating is a sad 2 / 5, which brings a lot of suspicions about the quality of their service.
- looking through their Google reviews, I found some of their employees have manipulated (or were ordered to from the high-ups... :|) the already-low ratings by stuff like this:
https://imgur.com/dWzAQJOhttps://imgur.com/qWahNzPSince some of Dorado's people are known for changing brands when their current one is non-reliable and it's known to most of the consumers, Dorado seems like a perfect scam / opportunity for Foodout to rebrand themselves in all of the local markets they operate in at the moment (mostly Lithuania and Latvia).
Also, Dorado seems like a scam since:
1) they use way too aggressive marketing measures to force the gullible "investors" to buy their DOR token
2) they use ridiculous phrases like "the next Uber", "first company to deliver pizza to space" (complete bullshit... instead of spending money on improving Foodout's customer service and delivery times, they deliver pizza to space :DDD)
3) they haven't posted any proof about their Foodout company growing by 6227% in the past 3 years (6227 obviously seems like a fishy number, anyways...)
4) when asked to Telegram by one of the community's members (which was later banned for asking too many sensitive questions... I guess by this guy called Dom...) to post proof of the proclaimed Foodout's success figures, one of their customer support guys - Dom - says, let me quote: "This is not a court. We don't have to prove anything." ...
Tell me, what kind of fucked up attitude is that, especially towards your customer?
5) they can't update their round progress bar on their website, which has been stuck at 80% since Monday and was updated only yesterday. Looks like they use a static number there :DDD They think we're fucking idiots
6) they constantly spam their website with little notifications in the bottom left corner of the screen - "Oh look, someone from Zimbabwe bought DOR worth 1000 of ETH"... Again - they think we're fucking idiots
MOST IMPORTANTLY:
- Foodout is losing the battle of food delivery services in Lithuania since UberEats and Wolt came into play; they offer much better delivery times and prices.
My advise would be: DO NOT PUT ANYTHING INTO THIS COIN. It's run by shadowy people (like CEO J.Karosas) and is associated with a company that's taking losses and losing its market share (Foodout) as almost everyone in both Vilnius and Kaunas (the main cities in Lithuania) are not happy with it.
