Hello,I'm a newbie.
As a newbie i don't really know much about this forum yet,so i would like to know the rules governing this forum, like what is to be done and what not to.
I urge to be clarified on it and vividly get a full knowledge of what am about doing and how to go about it.

Welcome to the forum! There are many rules that regulate what can and cannot be done on the forum. All the rules are intuitive: you can't swear with other users, write nonsense...
It is also very important not to copy other people's posts, this is plagiarism.
You can find all the rules, including the rules of ranks, here:

we don't know your purpose in the forum. but your first step is kind enough to ask about forum rules. You can understand the rules and do your best to follow some of the references that have been submitted by other members before.
Welcome to the forum, I hope you get a lot of benefits from the forum.
one more thing, stay away from the bounty board first, it will make you think clearly to discuss.

Welcome to the forum! You are in the right place in terms of learning and getting to know about the bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies topics and other learning details surrounding them. There are quite a lot to learn on this forum, I will advise that you go through the comment section to see and familiarise yourself with all that has been explained comprehensively in order to guide you from violating the rules of the forum. Also, I would advise that you study carefully and learn how the posts here are being made, no palgarism and familiarise yourself with other member’s/ senior memebers/ hero members  posts in order to learn better from what has been posted/commented.

welcome to this forum buddy,,,,,

In my opinion, no need to bother for beginners, because later you will automatically understand and understand the features in this forum, if you want to ask something, just try it on a search engine...
and if you can, don't repeat questions or create topics that are already in search engines, unless the answers don't satisfy your needs.
That's right advice that you must search for similar topics if they have been created before or not so there are no duplicate topics but as a newbie you would find it little hard to use the search function as it will give you messed up results and you can't filter it out.

So best is to use google optimised search for any topic you are looking for that will give you most of the threads with your input keywords and you can check them out like this

Code:
Hardware wallets bitcointalk
Private keys and seed phrases bitcointalk
How to rank up or merits bitcointalk

Or for more optimised results you can use https://ninjastic.space/ but open it on laptop or computer to get better results I would say.

Welcome to Bitcointalk forum. These are what I will suggest that you should DO and shouldn't DO. As you can see that there are only 1 in each but these two is what makes this forum great. Try starting from doing research then you will learn a lot later on. I was once a newbie where I don't know what I would do here in this forum but I explore on my own and made some research about the forum and also about cryptocurrency at the same time. Anyway, don't get carried away by the harsh criticism and just think of it as a way to find your mistakes or to make yourself better.

DO:
Always follow the forum rules as it for your own good (Unofficial or Official forums rules doesnt matter).

DON'T:
Never violate or break the forum rules even though you might say that it is not the official forum rules but we still follow the rules (Unofficial or Official forum rules doesn't matter).

You didn't really say anything on what your about doing although, I am left with the idea that means, you taking your journey on the forum and should that be it, getting acquinted with the rules is pretty much the best place to start. Don't forget, it's a discussion platform, your free to air your ideas as they are indeed valid but, don't be forced by yourself to put out something when you don't feel like. That would be spam and it's not a very welcomed practice in the forum. In fact, you get deleted posts, warnings, temporal bans and eventually the ban goes permanent.
Mind you, the rules arr very active and works here plus, it's a forum where you've got eyes watching. Be good and your sure to enjoy the forum.

Go to the Meta board and there are rules about the forum pinned by @mprep and it's clear what is forbidden not to do so as not to violate anything here.

Actually, as a newbie, you have to stay consistent with learning from the beginning and you don't need to press for clarifications to your people. You just need to find out what you need, if your path gets stuck, then you can ask on the required board.

I think there will be much here to guide you to a better path to greater knowledge.

I take this is your “hello world” message. Welcome to the forum. Start by learning how to search effectively for answers to your questions before making a topic. It’s amazing how newbies skip past the pinned threads, then create a topic asking questions that have been repeated over time.

Sometimes I feel like maybe some actual take it has a welcome routine, because you might see posts like this just above a similar post. Some newbies actually post this welcoming post not because they have not find the rules of the forum but just posting to have their first post. Nonetheless forum members will continue to share links for them even those that I know they won’t even open.

Welcome to the forum mate adhere to the guidelines of this forum and most importantly avoid plagiarism. Also don’t copy AI posts here, believe me there are members here that would detect it. The punishment for plagiarism is banning.

You have nothing much to do than being patient for learning first, now what are the things you should learn about, the first is the forum, we have some set of rules and regulations guiding us here from every activities we do, this makes the community here well coordinated and moderated unlike other platforms, you also need to acquire same knowledge about bitcoin first before diving into other cryptos.

I will say welcome to you as well like you have been told. If a newbie makes just a post and asking how to go about the forum then it is looking like a turn off for me. What happens to reading by yourself and ask more specific questions and not just for wanting to know about general situation in the forum. Making post as opening a thread on the first post could mean being in a rush or intentional for some purpose that may now be defeated.

Hello,I'm a newbie.

Welcome to the forum! There's a helpful guide that covers everything you need to know: Newbies - Read before posting

If you're feeling like you don't know where to start, try searching for answers to your questions before making a new post. There's a good chance someone has already asked the same question and you can find the answer without having to ask again. If you're here to learn, that's awesome! We're all here to help each other out, so don't be afraid to ask questions if you need help. But the key is to educate yourself as much as possible!

This always reminds me that the owners of these accounts are not really newcomers, and that they have alternative accounts. I mean, how do you explain that a member with a new account knows that the forum has rules that must be viewed and does not know how to search for them, and all he was able to do is publish a topic for the question. I suspect he's coveting merit points in something like this “Hello World” message.

The best thing a newbie can do to avoid getting a reputation as a dependent person is to read the section in which you guessed to open the topic.

My first time in this forum, I was also confused and, at the same time, afraid of violating the forum rules.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0Check the link; it will guide you through everything you need to know about the forum, and you should also post whatever you want and whenever you have something to contribute. One of the major rules you should always abide by is "Don't Plagiarize."
