Its a teamplay which it is expected for each member to play their own role but overall it do give best results yet they do able to get that Aegis.

Nah not really, actually OG could have won it sooner. Did you watch the game 2? Topson's Invoker was shut down in game 2 by LGD. It seems Topson was too confident after winning the first game and made alot of early blunder in game 2 resulted his Invoker to be completely useless. It is not really about teamwork anymore when it comes to TI, personal skill matter as well
I wont deny on that which Topson's invo was horrible because he didnt able to get such farm in mid plus from the rotations of Lgd and that 2nd game the team doesnt have much disable on game 2.
Personal skills does matter but without teamwork its still useless.

I was hoping for a og and eg final but psg has been great thus far and actually has a great shot at winning it all at this point.
As someone looking from outside (I do not play the game myself, just a fan of watching people who know what they are doing) it is insane to think the prices are so high.

The total prize pool is said to be 25 million and the winner is taking 11 million home as the prize. Let me breakdown to another example, euro league, the second biggest basketball league in the world is not giving out that much money to basketball clubs for winning the cup, teams do not even make that much if you put ticket sales and merchandise, most basketball teams are getting smaller because they can't pay millions to their players and decided to just get smaller contract players instead. This is bigger than euro league, the second biggest basketball league in the world.
This do really mean that e-sports is really big but most of us for those who arent gamers will not able to see on whats happening on the other side which we do see those numbers we would really be shocked on how
such thing do really deserve much interest.

Congrats team of for winning the TI8 aegis. A splendid performance for both teams the psg.lgd and team OG, but what I seen is the late game mastery of ana makes the difference for lgd to adjust.

Ana is great but I think the best one there is jerax making a lot of mind blowing plays. He is carrying the team with his role, I am really amazed by the plays this grand finals. Jerax for me is the game winner, not Ana but Jerax. He is the reason for the continuing of their team in the upper bracket up to finals.

OG win with honestly some of the greatest plays I've ever seen in games 4 and 5.

Ana being ganked at bottom secret shop as PL in game 4, managed to bait out stuns on an illusion, grab the bounty rune and sell two items all in about 2 seconds, so he had enough gold for buyback, which saved the game against LGD's push.

Ceb with the huge game winning Axe call in game 4.

JerAx being the best Earthshaker in the game, even when he's not playing Earthshaker. Seriously, his Rubick is crazy.

Topson's first competition.

N0tail now the most successful Dota player of all time (1 TI win, 4 major wins).

All competition long these guys have had to put up with casters and commentators shitting on them - they are underdogs, lucky to have qualified, won't make it out the group stages, won't stay in upper bracket, won't beat EG, easy win for LGD, etc, etc.

So happy for them. N0tail is my hero.

This is why I've said that if its a series of games LGD knows how to correct their committed mistakes and look they are leading the series now.
I can see now that QQQ (coach) and Maybe are smiling during this 4th game drafting.
The Score: LGD 2-1 OG and last one more game, they'll claim the aegis.

It is an intense game and we are just watching Game 4. The next game will be the last game and it will be the deciding point who will be claiming the aegis of the immortal and taking home that Prize Pool.

I am also pissed at these players watching the live game. They are all bullying the Midlane of OG, Topson which is so great at the game. They are saying Topson being useless though he is just being very careful on the team fights since he must ensure that he can provide supports and skills for his team to win a clash. He is careful since that is a BS and Morphling LGD, they can go on him easily and be more useless if he will be aggressive. If Topson can read this, you did great man, don't mind the watchers just mind the plays you should be doing in the game, just one game away from the claiming the Aegis man.

That is when LGD lose the defending champion, the champions of the last year's The International, Team Liquid. Ever since that, the most favorite team is LGD but even before that, the team with the most bet is VP and Team Liquid.
True, the crowd favorite that wants to get the aegis for this TI was Virtus.Pro but they were eliminated.
If you will be looking that too in a lot of sites before TI, these two is the favorite before but now it is LGD. LGD is so strong these Meta, they are so strong it really pisses me off. My prediction these TI is EG though LGD brought them down in the Semis. They brought down Liquid, so I guess that will be a great proof that LGD has a great possibility of winning the TI, World vs. China again and following the past winners alternating from world to china, It is China's turn to win the TI.

Not that hard to predict but if you know on how these two teams play, their strategy, their confidence and individual skills, you know what to bet and who's going to win this game. If you will look at different social media posts of bettors, most of them are betting for LGD.

It's hard to predict since the event was too crucial for every player, that's why gamblers find it hard to choose the best teams.

I guess being dedicated to the team who they know for a stable was their only way of determining full potentials.
It can be one factor that really gives impact to their game but there's many to call that can determine the full potentials.

I dont see much interest here about e-sports but im pretty sure that there are several people like me do have the same interest.Opening of the The international would start on 30 mins as of writing.
I do see another 2 weeks of sleepless nights watching this once a year big event on Dota 2 which i dont really like to miss. Cool  My wallet is ready to make some bets.

The current total prize pool is $24,385,238 USD as of this year,

Right no, the finals is currently happening, how about predicting who will claim the aegis? This ti8 I would be rooting for OG because ana is improving his endgame strats and gameplay.

I think the game was having lots of time to develop each and everybody's skills, so learning new strategies will help every player beat their team opponents. It's hard to predict since the event was too crucial for every player, that's why gamblers find it hard to choose the best teams. All for now while the finas still happening, I guess being dedicated to the team who they know for a stable was their only way of determining full potentials.

Topson made so many clutch plays in those 2 minutes - incredible to think he was playing pubs just a few months ago, this is his first major tournament, and now he is in the grand final. According to Liquipedia his career winnings thus far are $3,790, and he's now guaranteed at least $800,000 from second place in TI. Wild.
I'm impress to this player.

Played for the first time with the biggest tourney of Dota 2 and was able to make it with his new team and made it to the top 2. Include also that they are able to beat the great wall of China (LGD) which is one of the tier 1 teams. Though I'm seeing a lot of salty people posting on social media calls him dogson.

There is a good chance that EG might win the lower bracket against LGD and they are going to be facing OG back in the final round. I was surprised that they beat Liquid by 2 games and it seems they are ready to be facing OG back. OG was lucky to win the game before but in the final round Im sure that EG will be giving it all
Sad to say that EG was eliminated.

Currently the game is leading by OG. It was 1-0 against PSG.LGD

Right no, the finals is currently happening, how about predicting who will claim the aegis? This ti8 I would be rooting for OG because ana is improving his endgame strats and gameplay.
I want OG to win the aegis but its a series of games and LGD is good at it.

Congratulations to PSG.LGD it's a straight win to the finals.

Now it's the last match to decide who will take home the Aegis. Is the tradition is real of pattern winning?
Ti1 - Non chinese team
Ti2 - Chinese team
Ti3 - Non chinese team
Ti4 - Chinese team
Ti5 - Non chinese team
Ti6 - Chinese Team
Ti7 - Non Chinese Team
Ti8 - ??

I guess many are also disappointed, they want more of OG vs EG.  Grin

We do observed that pattern but it is really just a coincidence because theres no possibility of rigged or fixed results.
Looking out on how each team strives to compete each other you cant really have those kind of doubts.

LGD did took the spot and Eg was way too confident and basing on their drafts i would say it is really horrible.
Sumail on necrophos i wasn't expecting on that pick.

This best of 5 will decide if the tradition is real for that pattern or its just a coincidence, we will see.

I don't think that EG Is way too confident with their match against LGD. It's one of the best team that they are fighting and about the draft, its decent I think. What they made them lose is they are careless, they are good at laning stage during early game.

But it all ended when they were outsmarted by the plays of LGD.
Yes you do have a point-It's just my own view though but well this is a game theres a winner or loser.Grandfinals is starting now which do have the best of 5 i do see 3-2 with OG on this one but asking on who would take game 1 then i will be on the Chinese team with Somnus storm and they do already ban out silencer and skywrath which is silence type heroes. This would really be hard if they can able to counter that storm.

I would love OG to win, but more importantly, they beat EG down to the lower bracket and finished above them in the rankings. Serves Fly right for backstabbing his friend and Cr1t for being a childish bully pushing people around in the corridors.

I thought I could maybe start to like EG again after Fear left, but turns out everyone who joins them turns in to a scumbag.

Topson and ana holding off all of LGD for 2 minutes, and then JerAx with a $4 million echo slam. What a game.
I thought LGD will get that game but kudos to topson which did well for this game. Holding the push for a very long time while waiting for his other teammates to revive.
Guys have you seen the video where while n0tail is being interviewed, cr1t shoulder bumped him? Very salty.
https://www.reddit.com/r/DotA2/comments/9a4fxx/cr1t_pushes_n0tail_savage/
Best drama of the year.

I don't disagree with these players being salty or whatever but the thing is that they are pro players, they must not do things physically but do it in their plays in the upcoming games.

I think what NoTail is thinking back there is how he will be able to take down their team though they still need to take down LGD which is the team that is predicted to win this TI though OG is a beast too.
OG is indeed a beast yet they do able to retain on the upperbracket making other teams do fall into lower bracket which they had been faced previously.LGD got already the game 1 and if EG wont able to counter the Chinese team then we wont able to see that Notail and Fly fight. This is the last day and we will able to know whose the champion of this tournament this year.

LGD hurried up too much on that push which they do believe they can able to crack that ancient but topson do hold it up until jerax respawn. They direct go to the tier 4 tower after breaking the 3rd since LGD heroes doesnt have a buyback which is really thrilling comeback and secure the spot for top 2.
Not that they hurried for that push but its a momentum and they have to finish the game.

It's Ana's spectre so it will turn the tables once they are all live. Ame was killed and bought back quickly with BoT back to Radiant's base to finish the game, it is just Topson's Arc Warden and Ana's spectre did a good job for defending the tree. And the game ends when Jerax was alive for that million bucks echo slamma jamma!

Ahh, that's a typo, sorry. I should have said:

Personally I think Liquid will beat Secret 2-0, but EG - Secret Liquid is too close to call.

After Liquid beat Secret they will advance to meet EG in the next round, and that was the game I meant would be too close to call. As you say, Liquid - EG are both very strong teams, and it is surprising they will be meeting in the lower bracket after dominating the group stages.

Secret is also a formidable team and I don't think they will just slide this chance since they are closing to claim their own Aegis of Immortal. Liquid is strong, that is a fact but I think there are some flaws to them. It is not on the team but I think it is on the Meta. Every year, not same teams will be claiming the same Aegis since the Meta is changing. Yes, they are pro players but their type of plays are not that great in the new Meta, well that is my opinion to it seeing their plays in the TI.
I mean every team would do whatever it takes to take the aegis not just team secret. Every team have flaws not just team liquid there's no perfect team if there is they will dominate every Valve Event, yeah there are some teams that are not able to adapt to the meta quickly i think its the reason why they are losing.
Any team do really have its flaws and as being said any team do have that thirst to claim that aegis on finals and even Liquid is a strong team, anything can possibly happen on this tournament even the underdog tier teams can possibly beat out those strong ones.Currently watching game of Secret and Liquid, you will able to see on how Secret do able to make a good fight with Liquid which i really didnt expect.

Though Secret Lost without any wins with Team Liquid, that is how great this team of Kuroky is. Miracle is a great carry, in fact TI8 battle pass has a Fantasy Lineup that gives you score of players based on their performance and if you will be picking Miracle always, you will be having a great score.

Now, the fight is EG and Liquid. EG is a strong team with Sumail back at his own lane but the problem is that they will be facing Liquid. It is still game 1 43-37 with the lead of EG but they are still far away from ending the game. Miracle are pulling off a great performance this game, it is a must watch match up and it might even decide the winner of this major.

So comparing today's games to what happened when the teams last met:

OG v LGD in the upper bracket final - these teams went 1-1 against each other in the group stages.

Liquid v Secret in the Chinese Supermajor - Liquid beat Secret 2-0 in the Upper Bracket Round 2 back at the start of June.

Lower Bracket Round 5 will be either EG against Liquid (Liquid won 2-0 in the group stages) or EG against Secret (EG won 2-0 in Upper Bracket Round 1).

Personally I think Liquid will beat Secret 2-0, but EG - Secret is too close to call. So hopeful that OG can hold their nerve and make it to the final.

The previous champion of the International 2017 wont lose to Team Secret. I think Secret is a good team but LIquid is way ahead of them. I wasnt really expecting anything good out of the top bracket because once liquid win the game, they will be facing EG. Liquid vs EG is basically the Final that most people are waiting for in International

Currently on game 2,Optic is on the lead.
Having said that Optic Gaming lost while Virtus.Pro will advance to the next round against EG. I'm sure that this isn't going to be an easy match for EG as VP is one of the toughest team today.

I'm with Virtus.Pro for their match.

While on the other side, it's VGJ.Storm vs. Secret.

VGJ.Storm's good during the elimination process but I know that Secret won't let them advance.

VP did well on 2nd game and took the the higher spot.Im currently watching VGJ and Secret and they are on draft as of this time.I cant still believe that secret do made this far if we do base their current
performances they do really improved as of this year and going back in TI 7 they have been eliminated earlier LB Round 2 by Liquid.
I guess Team Liquid will be having their way up against VP, VP is having a great run this TI. I am still disappointed with the lost of TNC, they are still not on their strongest at that time they are just caught surprisingly by Mineski.

Moving on, my vote will be on VP. LGD is strong too bringing Liquid down at the lower bracket but they will be facing with OG, another strong house and I don't think the BIG DADDY will let them through easily.

Round 1 is hard for VGJ and Team secret is currently owning as of this moment.Meepo is too fat even Templars assasin refraction is useless having a backup of clinkz plus global silence then sustain from necrophos
and now they took the first round(Secret).
They were outdraft by Puppey. Clement did a good pick and credits to Sunbhie as well, their Team Secret's coach. During the early game, Templar assassin was dominated by Cllinkz(MidOne).

The draft of VGJ.Storm is really awkward, no counter for Meepo and no stun.

They have stun but look at that Wraith King, sneyking no item lol. KOTL was richer than his core.

Me too I'm watching it as well.

Team Secret's heroes - Clinks, Necrophos, Earthshaker, Silencer and Meepo.

VGJ.Storm's heroes - Mirana, Templar Assassin, Wraith King, KOTL, Undying.

If VGJ.Storm will win this series and hopefully if EG will win as well. It will be brothers against brothers on the mid lane.

n0tail rocks! I love Dota 2, but there are some mobile games that needs some attention too. People are too focussed on

console and pc games.  Sad  Games like Vainglory / Fortnite / Clash Royale/Of Clans / Heartstone has a giant following and they

should get a lot more attention in Sport betting sites.  Sad  There are more people playing these games than StarCraft and

Dota 2  Roll Eyes

Those mobile game do have that much player but if they will able to last for a long time just like what other games did specially Dota 2 and Warcraft etc. then they might get that consideration on sports betting sites but for now they are focused on pc games rather than on mobile ones.

Looking forward for a upset tomorrow Optic vs VP that would boost my fantasy points alot if they pull a upset tomorrow.

This EG vs OG, what a game man, what a game. 2 comebacks on game 2 and game 3. I thought OG lose already on game 3 but they managed to make a big comeback with spectre, zeus and Centa. The best game of international 2018 so far.
even dota plus predicted EG have a 41% chance of winning with 14k gold advantage and have a destroyed barracks (i forgot how many barracks they destroyed at that time) and it keep going down after spectre is slowly getting farm that's the power of the best late game hero.

Yeah i thought dota plus is shit lol but nope, i think it's because of the power of spectre. Combo Spectre with tank build heart of taras + skadi and Centaur with aghanim + refresher. Even Full item tiny can't kill spectre on the last fight. Great game though.
Giving spectre a time to farm and go for late game then it would really give a headache later on and I was amazed on the patience of the team and with Ana on his spec. Inspite on having that disadvatange with net gold they do still able to handle it out on late game. Spec+ SS of centaur would really be so tanky with Skadi, manta, diffusal item then it cant really be damaged so easily even with tiny combos.

Comeback is real and OG has shown us what that means, I was hoping that it was EG who win the game because I bet for them but on the other side, I acknowledge that they are doing a good job making that comeback. You have to give Notail an appreciation of what he did, it was because of him that they won the game against EG

Must be so satisfying for N0tail to beat them.
Very satisfying!

I'm also with n0tail on this side though he's getting a lot of hates before but now the Dota 2 community is on his side today.

How lovely to see him react with that handshake that made me wooooooop while watching the stream. That feeling after meeting again your childhood friend and ex-mate that left you hanging in the air to secure himself a TI slot and you have won the match against them.

n0tail commended!

Just realised that in the upper bracket yesterday, group A teams went 8-0 against group B teams.

Suggests group A was the stronger group, and since both EG and Liquid went 13-3 in that group, I'm predicting an EG - Liquid Upper Bracket Final and Grand Final.

EG is surprisingly strong this meta, I do not know what did they do with s4 and Fly at their side but damn, they are really great this TI. I do not know if EG will be getting another TI aegis but I don't think it will be easy.

VP is a great team including the Team Liquid, I don't think that they will be letting another championship on EG the same as Liquid. VP are still not winning their TI so I guess it might their chance now, since I will be rooting for them.

Friends right from HoN days, before Fly totally backstabs N0tail, forcing OG to pull out of the Chinese Supermajor, scramble to complete their line-up prior to TI, forcing them to go all the way through the Open Qualifiers and the Main Qualifiers, and then OG beats them.

N0tail is such a great guy, I would be so psyched to see him finally win a TI.

Two upsets with both EG and Liquid losing, but yeah, mad props to OG. Guaranteed top 3 finish and so happy for them. Arteezy's fault I feel, he left EG playing 4v5 while he farmed, but never really came online.

I'll say it again, if only OG didn't have to resort to such incredible comebacks to win, but man they deserved it.

Basing on current stats Liquid vs LGD and OG vs EG.These would be the fights that can give us goosebumps for sure and those teams on upper bracket was just too good and on lower bracket VP is trying to cling up too.
Upcoming match will be on these teams for this Day 2 of the main event.

Winstrike lost to VG.J thunder on 2-0.

Who are the EG fans boy here? they just won against Secret with a 2-0. The dark horse which is Team Serenity has lost against Optic Gaming, this team surely is very good in strategies.

Since Serenity has lost, I'm expecting that Winstrike will win against VGJ.Storm but it's one of the hardest team to beat in the tournament today. They were very consistent with their plays and they only lost to OG with a crucial fight.
Optic Gaming captain PPD is from EG though and he also the previous camptain on EG and with Zai too, both are a good player from EG. This team is good. VGJ.Storm is placed on top 1 on group stage, i think it will be hard for winstrike.
let's see if ppd can figure out Virtus Pro tomorrow let just hope they will outdraft VP, there will be much higher chance of winning for them. Winstrike are capable taking down Tier 1 teams like VP and they even almost won a series against Team Liquid at Epicenter.

OG are just unbelievable. Another amazing comeback for them against Storm. If only they could play that well all game long and then not need to pull off such amazing comebacks, they would be serious contenders to win it. That gives them a minimum top 6 finish - so happy for N0tail after the shitty year he has had.

Also, this line from Sumail was the highlight of the day:

"What do you think is the biggest obstacle between you and the Aegis?"
"Artour"

i hope he doesnt manta dodge the aegis again, TI 5 Secret Grin

Yeah, i think Notail best role is support, like the old OG when miracle on OG. Notail carry is not good, luckly Ana is back and notail back to support role.
i think notail is still a good carry he is the carry when they won alot of major so i guess he is still good maybe not on form unlike before, i guess his mechanical skills translated to support.

2 SEA teams has fallen. Bon Voyage Fnatic and TNC PRO Dota team.

TNC took it easily in the early to mid game but Mski's line up is totally for late game. They can't even finish the game during the early game and this is the weakness of TNC. They are very good in killings but they aren't good by ending the game and finishing with their objectives.

Looks like Serenity is doing it pretty well and that tiny support impresses me.

Really happy OG went 6-2 during the second half of the group stages and pulled themselves in to the upper bracket like I thought they would.

EG looking pretty solid throughout the group stages - really looking forward to their round one match against Secret. I think that will be a very close series.

I'm out of thinking because I'm sleepless for 2 days just because of watching the games live through stream.

I know there are your favorite teams, crowd favorite. But there is one team that caught my attention and that is Team Serenity. It's the dark horse of the tourney and it's being compared to CDEC and Wings.

Anyone noticed also the experimental games of Liquid?
Current standing of Serenity is on the last spot or place on Group B having a 3-5 standing on day 2. They would need to catch up  since the group stage would be only 2 days left.
EG is on fire having 9-1 on group A and VGJ Storm 7-1 on group B. These teams are already on top tier bracket when the main event starts on August 20, Monday.
We are on the same situation where i do only have 2-3 hrs sleep a day since the beginning of the group stage.
Team Serenity is now on the lower bracket and they'll fight against Fnatic. If Fnatic isnt too careful with their playstyle through mid game to late game, they'll lose against Serenity.

Im on the road now and it seems that the lower bracket is too bloody for SEA. Pain gaming and Invictus gaming were out Sad I thought w33ha can bring the team up just like Resolution did.
On lower bracket this would really be tough for SEA teams because the game would be on Best of 1 which means if they lose then they would return home early. The tough thing i do saw is on the team of TNC and MNSKI
which one of them will able to get in the next opponent would be either LGD or VP.

Thanks for all the suggestions, guys! I would love to get my feet wet with e-sports betting soon, but I need to do some reading and researching first  Wink
I will start off by checking some Twitch live-streams to learn more about the tournament games first though. Good luck with your bets, guys  Cheesy

There is a lot of reuploader as well in youtube if you prefer youtube though. In Dota 2 the match result will be very unexpected but at the early stage it will be few easy bet for you to choose, just go for the favourite because thats what happens in the group stage. As for the next stage it could be very unpredictable

I support TEAM LIQUID btw  Wink

I have noticed that there are less people interested in e-sports. As long as you are able to make money, I think that’s OK, by gambling.

I’m not that updated with the rosters in a different team changes but I am rooting for the Philippines. I don’t know if they would be able to be the EG.  With their match yesterday with Newbee, They last and I think there still a chance hopefully they will be in the top teams.
I dont think so, if you do try to check the entire number of players and fans you will able to say different thing because they cant able to accumulate such prize pool if interest would be that low.
TNC is a philippines team and they are good but beating up EG would still be on less chances if we do see the current scores on the 1st day of the group stage.

This is very interesting for some people and I am a game lover, EG always dominates and it is true that the achievements in the current competition EG is superior in terms of points but it's good to watch if the two meet but I prefer EG because they are a great team . Grin

Is there a website or a blog or something where I could find information about e-sport experts' analysis of the games and predictions for who is going to win etc.? I would like to get into e-sport betting Smiley Are there a lot of teams to follow? I would imagine the e-sport scene is not as big as other sports and it's easier to keep tabs on the favourites.

Nope I dont know one but if you want to get started to know which is the better team then I got a site that contain all previous record of the team including how famous they are and their current roster

https://liquipedia.net/dota2/Main_Page

All player transfer included as well as the previous match result or head to head result from the team that you are trying to bet on. This website is probably the best for dota 2 esports right now

You can use up the links given earlier.

If you're looking for a way to track matches live and/or even just looking for information on TI 2018, GosuGamers is a good option, and Liquipedia is another good site if you're also looking for things like past accomplishments and player transfers, etc. I personally use Liquipedia for tracking CS:GO teams, and I've never had an issue with them-the site's neat and navigable, no complaints from me.

Here's the Liquipedia TI 2018 page.

You can use these too.

https://www.tipify.gg/esports/dota-2/
https://esports-betting-tips.com/dota2-predictions-and-betting-tips/

I havent test it out yet im not really relying into tips.

Fnatic actually looked very strong yesterday. EE and Universe are both very strong players, and although Fnatic's record this year isn't amazing, they stomped Liquid 39-1 in half an hour.

Harder to get a handle on Group B given they have played less games.
i guess if winstrike cant beat eg i guess they are out, rooted them since they qualified to a major. i hope EG doesnt do ti 6 secret run.
Do you watch the first match fnatic vs liquid? Because Fnatic almost win in the first game too but they choked, Fnatic threw the game so hard in the 1st game and make liquid win the first game.
this is why fnatic games are interesting to watch they are so unpredictable they win unwinnable game and lose a unlosable game that's the power of fiftEE/fiftEE.
SEA teams are interesting to watch to this TI 8 even mineski too they can still able to cope up with strong teams and about fanatic i cant even believe they do able to push down Liquid when it comes to scores 39-1.

I have noticed that there are less people interested in e-sports. As long as you are able to make money, I think that’s OK, by gambling.

EG continuing to dominate the second day, going in to day three at 9-1. OG were actually looking better too - despite currently being 3-5, they have played most of the harder teams in the group. Hopefully with their easier matches on day three they can get in to the upper bracket.

Fanatic do have a good momentum on early game but they choked from mid to late game but they do able to make a comeback on 2nd game giving only the team liquid on the score of 1.

This is a good idea to be quite frank with you, I think that e-Sports are not having any introduction here up until now, it does need attention as technology rises and that more and more people are recognizing e-Sports, this needs some serious recognition.

EG is dominating in the first day group stage, 5-1. You can check it here for all the results on the first day https://liquipedia.net/dota2/The_International/2018/Group_Stage. For the pinoy team, TNC has a quite good result so far 2-2.

I'm happy to see this thread. Anyone here supports TNC Predators from the Philippines (SEA Cancer Server LOL)? Even they got place in the last or win or lose they return home millionaire in Philippines.

My prediction for TNC is they will be 5th - 8th place which is 350,000 USD to 1,000,000 USD.

The current total prize pool is $24,385,238 USD as of this year,
I am not playing DOTA but before I am watching the players while they are playing when I was in high school as I've noticed it is likely the same as Mobile Legends. My partner is always playing mobile legends together with my brothers and they are enjoying it.
When I was in high school, players of DOTA are going to somewhere else just to make a bet and play with somebody to fight.

I like e-sports but to be fair can't find anything interesting in Dota 2, I prefer fifa and shooters but haven't played for years. But can't understand what's so interesting in dota? Prize of Dota 2 international chempionship is huge, amazing.
Do any of you play in this tournament? Wish you success...
Btw what about dota 2 bitcoin tournament from this forum?
Everyone's got their own tastes, some like RTS games like Dota, others like FPSes and strategy games. I don't like Dota a lot either, but I bet on it often, might just be because my tastes are more oriented towards games like CS:GO though. Seems that Dota 2's more popular and the prizepool's bigger for most Dota torunaments due to that from what I've noticed as well.

Do you have some bets in mind today? I think people would appreciate some e-sport tips here as there aren't many bettors left that bet on e-sports. There was one guy named the mexican or something who was a very successful e-sport bettor and had a nice profitable thread running, but unfortunately he stopped posting a while ago. If you know about any banker bets feel free to share them with us  Wink
If I know some of those guys, of course I loved to share any info about him. E-sport is very enjoyable and most of the people who find this sport entertaining, wanted to have bets for it. I don't exactly have certain information regarding where it was held here being gambled in my place. Only that I noticed tournaments played by different gaming shops, and providing chances for those talented guys at our local area.

EG are the only team so far to have gone 2-0 in their first qualifier. As I said, I really like their roster, with Arteezy, s4 and Fly being favorite players of mine. I suppose I can start liking them again now that Fear has left - I hated him and ppd.

Secret are currently being beaten by Serenity - who are they?
Check on here https://www.gosugamers.net/dota2/teams/23622-team-serenity. The team compose of Chinese members i do only know 1 of them and the rest is just new into my eyes but all of them do really have that good plays and when you see their win rate this team would be a strong contender.

The game is still ongoing even though this is just a group stage but you can feel out the thrill if you are a esports love.
