Your first transaction is trying to go through but the second transaction will (most likely) go through first. It is technically a double spend, but once it confirms with ONE of them, it will never confirm with the other so you'll be fine.

TL;DR, if the lower fee goes through, the higher won't and if the higher fee goes though the lower won't. No big deal here.

Oh Another option in the future is use viabtc transaction accelerator. Increasing the fee will work better though IMO.

Oh alright, thanks a lot!

Understood it all, great explanation.

Will do, thank you!

Hello everyone,

I've deposited 0.0199BTC on a website via Electrum.

Once I sent it my transaction got marked as 'Replaceable' so I clicked it and increased the fee.

Then signed and broadcasted it.

https://blockchain.info/tx/1febe6cf184ca524728a5aa8104c67fc32d826a870b13b41c49011478138f2f4

Now it's marked as double spend and I have two transactions of the same amount deposited.

What happened ?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you!
