it is better to create a new wallet and move your funds to it. the problem with using a restored wallet long term is that 2fa wallets create larger transactions than standard wallets so you'll pay higher transaction fees and won't be getting the benefit of 2fa protection either.

you can create a new wallet using this guide.

If you still have the seed from which your wallet originally was created, you can restore the wallet from this seed, at which point you will be able to spend the funds without requiring the services of TrustedCoins.
You can then send your coins to a wallet that has not been created with the 2FA feature and start spending them without paying any additional fees.

Even if TrustedCoin is compromised or taken offline, your coins are secure as long as you still have the seed of your wallet. Your seed contains two master private keys in a 2-of-3 security scheme. In addition, the third master public key can be derived from your seed, ensuring that your wallet addresses can be restored. In order to restore your wallet from seed, select “wallet with two factor authentication”, as this tells Electrum to use this special variety of seed for restoring your wallet.

Note: The “restore” option should be used only if you no longer want to use TrustedCoin, or if there is a problem with the service. Once you have restored your wallet in this way, two of three factors are on your machine, negating the special protection of this type of wallet.

That's correct, the additional fee is taken by TrustedCoin, which manages your 2FA wallet.

You should have seen a warning like this when creating your wallet:

i believe you are using a 2FA wallet in which case you are using a third party service which is your second layer security and signs part of the transaction for you. this service is not free and that additional fee (0.001BTC) that you are paying is that cost.

when creating this wallet you have been warned with a warning window which you had to read before closing!

TrustedCoin charges a small fee to co-sign transactions. The fee depends on how many prepaid transactions you buy. An extra output is added to your transaction every time you run out of prepaid transactions.

Costs depend on how many prepaid transactions you purchase at once (which is configurable by clicking on the TrustedCoin shield icon in the lower right of the Electrum interface).

Pay every 20 transactions:   0.00005 BTC/tx        0.001 BTC total
Pay every 100 transactions:   0.000025 BTC/tx        0.0025 BTC total

hello I have a doubt to send $ 15 put the fees in manual when I put the address to send clickeo the maximum button and I get the following information

http://prntscr.com/jxf9pc

https://prnt.sc/jxf7lm

I think that up there I'm fine imagine that the amount that by default puts my wallet is fine now the Doubt is the moment I give to send me the following information the fees is only 0.15 but below I get additional fees this the real fees?? 6.77 $? So I will receive only half of $ 15 or there is some way to edit this commission since I edit and put it in minimum and I still get that additional commission of 6.77

https://prnt.sc/jxf8oi

thanks for help
